Skid plate
Making a skid plate. Not so much out of necessity, also for fun and because catalytic converter theft is very popular here. HOW TO: Pound pinch welds, stop fender rubbing...
For the wheel well liner: Would it be possible to just cut out a "V" section of the plastic liner then cutting a 1/8" thick piece of rubber To fit and just sealing and pop riveting it to the back side of the cut out section? I haven't looked at it carefully to see if that will work but i cant... -

I'm not worried about the rear right now. The fonts are adjustable, I think, with that snap ring. Maybe I need the other Bilsteins and then the 927 springs would work? That sounds like it would make sense and explain things.- Joey D

I wasn't going to get under there and look around until it gets a little warmer, (no garage, - 9 right now) but I am confused about that one. And the front shocks have a large snap ring on them I wasn't sure what that was for either. Now I'm getting worried /curious. Driving it feels great.- Joey D

Shocks are bilstein 5100's. I need to talk to him again to make sure I heard him right but I thought that's what he said and I have the 927's. I'm getting 21" front 21 1/2" rear, does that sound like 2 - 2 1/2 compared to say stock?- Joey D

Pretty much everything but especially parts would be really bad if they failed. I've heard about or saw postings of control arms breaking from corrosion. I saw one guy just a couple days ago pulling out of a parking lot, don't know what failed but one front wheel looked like it was no longer...- Joey D

Hi, New to the KJ but I want to replace suspension parts. Mine is not low mileage, probably around average for a 2006. Got about 2 1/2 lift. I'm in Minnesota and have seen reports, postings, whatever about various failed parts from corrosion. I just want to replace them all and not worry about...- Joey D

Teraflex front bump stops?
I had a similar but opposite experience. I told her I wanted to order bumpstops, and she asked "is this for a Liberty?" Makes me think so many people read this that it gets repetitive for them. In a good way.- Joey D
