You are probably right. I checked the bearings on the camper, they were still is very good shape but I never paid attention to the seals. I think they sell the kit for each tire at around $30, probably worth while swapping everything out - $60 is far cheaper than a tow truck if something goes...
I made it sound like a river, it wasn't quite that bad... but still made me wonder. That was not the same grease and I put now, but was probably the same manufacturer since I got both at Canadian Tire.
Takes no time to refill and squeeze out the old... might just do that.
At the price of grease, I don't mind ditching the tube and replacing it if indeed the quality is low. I figured if it met the standards then it was good. How could I tell, would it be because it leaks from the seals?
I packed my wheel bearing on my camper last summer with some Canadian Tire...
Anyone ever see welding using batteries? Looks like something useful for the trail so you can weld in an emergency case.

I bought two new front upper control arms, and the ball joints have the grease nipples. I was so eager to try out my new grease gun, so I promptly filled both ball joints with some premium synthetic bearing grease.
I am just wondering, was this a dumb thing to do before installing the arms...
Most of the forums I have been a member of recommend the exact opposite, they want you to use the free service providers to avoid overwhelming their forums. If the admins here also prefer we upload, I am good with that (much easer for me).
Hmmm... I have been using Photobucket for many years, and have yet to encounter any problems. Maybe using the new mobile devices are the issue? I use a simple laptop and it always seems to work as expected in my case.
Maybe if links actually showed up as links on this site, then people would see them and know to click on them. I've made several inquiries into this but have yet to get a decent response from any admins... just saying.
There is also the Plasti-Dip option which many of the youngands are doing now-a-days. If you muck it up you just peel it off and try again. I imagine it would cost a few hundred for the spray cans to do an entire truck.
I ran a set of Cherry Bomb mufflers on my 1986 Grand Am years back... sounded freaking awesome... I'd be curious to try it on the Liberty.... :)
Meh... just found this, maybe not.

The truck itself acts as part of the antenna, so mounting location can affect how the signals are received. Here is an example from another Jeep forum.
If the paint is just old and faded, you may be able to have it detailed by a pro shop, where they could potentially bring it back to a nice shine and get rid of a lot of smaller scratches.
I think he is referring to the Power Distribution Center.
