when idling the 3.7 does give a little rumble every few seconds. I feel it best in lower back of seat. It's normal far as I'm concerned since my fathers 05 liberty does it and so did my wife's 02 liberty.
however. I never have an issue pulling away. If it feels like the engine stumbles at the...
Yes there is. I had to replace it on my wife's 02 KJ a few years back. It's one tiny bulb
Unfortunately, I don't remember what the bulb number is. When I replaced it I pulled the old bulb out and used it to reference a new one at the parts store.
Does it mostly happen when going up a low grade hill, around 35MPH and your foot is lite on gas?
Mines done a little a rumble under those conditions I described since I had my Jeep new. Had it checked several times by different garages. Nothings out of place.
How old is the battery? if it's 4 or 5+ years old I would start with that. You can have lights and electronics work okay and still have a bad battery. If the voltage isn't right from the battery it won't even try to crank over.
That's what my jeep did when I had to replace my battery. It drove...
Been using the 12 inch blades from my local store (A&A auto) since I bought my Jeep. Never had issues with it and stores fine when off.
I believe it's an anco blade as there the only brand I can find locally with a blade that small. Also despite all auto parts in my area carry Anco and many...
Got mine last Wednesday. Was talking to my buddy that owns a garage about it and from what he heard from his friends down at the dealership, the hitches being made for the recall are all class 1 hitches.
So take that for whatever it's worth since it's information passed on and then passed on...
Probably just the sway bar bushings making noise due to the cold. Mine has done it every winter since I bought it in 2006. You could spray them up to silence them. However, after a few minutes of driving mine warm up from the motion of the suspension and the noise goes away.
Good luck with the new Vehicle. I've been thinking of doing the same. I would probably go for a Cherokee Trailhawk but I enjoy not having a car payment and since I fill my tank up once a month and put on maybe 3000-4000 a year. I could wait.
God I love my company vehicle lol
Just FYI I...
How old is the battery? Even if the the lights, horn and keyless are working. The battery could be on it way out. My battery showed proper voltage when it died last winter despite everything else working. Took a couple time to jump start it too.
infact i drove the vehicle the night before no...
Put the shifter into neutral and start the vehicle. The vehicle may not be recognizing that the shifter is in Park. Even taking the vehicle out of park and putting it back into park might do the trick but I would try starting in Neutral 1st
Once in a while my Jeep wouldn't recognize the...
I'm only 1/2 hour north of Hazleton and and I travel through that area every now and then for work and when one of my fathers cars needs a part from Harry's. I'll actually be in Hazleton on Tuesday.
So yea it's been freezing and nothing but rain here too.
Did you try the WD-40 and blow dryer...
Well now she knows door lock tumblers can fail at anytime too lol.
God love ya for being in Hazleton but at this point I think it might be better than Wilkes-Barre.
On my first car the locks used to freeze up. I usually sprayed WD-40 in it and put a blow dryer on it every now and then.
I wanna assume she has been using the key lock all along since you said she don't like fobs but I gotta ask have you ever used it before? If you bought it used it is very...
Put the weights on the backside of the rim only where they won't be seen or using the stick on weights for the inside of the rim works fine too. They make the stick on in either silver or black. I was able to balance just fine either way.
My Kj has weights only on the back of the rims. My...
The 50/50 is $11:49 a Gal and the concentrate is $16.99 a Gal. I can get dis-stilled water for about 80 cents. I did some math and going either way it would cost the same.
Now, how many Quarts? I been reading between 11-13 quarts. which is about 3 gallons give or take a quart.
Looking to change the antifreeze.
Been searching the web and the forum. I know I need HOAT antifreeze for the KJ. Been noticing people saying they got there antifreeze from NAPA. So I searched there.
Would this be acceptable to use in the KJ?
