Service Contracts After 100,000 miles
TBJ...it's a syndrom effecting many of us who owned vehicles made in the 60's, 70's and early 80's before the big three latched onto the whole leasing thing and had to start making vehicles that lasted past 100,000 miles.... This is actually something I did with my first couple of vehicles, got lazy when I purchased my Dodge Ram 4X4 back in '02, the changing inspection laws were the kick in the asre I needed to do it again.....and I will be throwing some spare fuses in there too.... Just picked up a set of Hella High Performance Xenon Blue lamps for my '05 Renegade...(HB5 / 9007)....at Advanced Auto Parts... Put the right side in first then clicked on the heads to see how much of a difference there was, even in the bright sun light you can clearly see how much...- SurfGuitar141

Rain-X Latitudes..... OEM's lasted for years, went to the cheap Trico's and they sucked right out of the package, put on the Rain-X Latitudes, so far clean even wipes, no squeaks, but haven't seen them work in the winter yet, so the jury is still out on them....- SurfGuitar141

2002 to 2007 is the KJ years, 2008 to 2010 + is the KK years Between the 2002 and 2007 model years some minor changes were made, many parts fit all years, but some do not. Others here know more about what exactly those changes are, not sure the exhaust system is one of them.....- SurfGuitar141

Reverse Light Bulb comparison test....
Nah....I'll keep them. The guy at Advanced Auto Parts did say the Sylvania's tend to burn out quicker than standard intensity bulbs, so the PIAA's will be my spares......;)- SurfGuitar141

OK....all you disbelievers, I have provided the photos you all so desperately want to see......:rolleyes: Judging the actual brightness of a light fixture via a digital photo is marginal at best, but I tried to capture the best image of the Sylvania, and PIAA bulbs that I could. Removing the air dam
HJ I think the bumper arrangement was different on my Renny, but after trimming the bumper which got rid of that air dam and a lot of other useless plastic, I can now reach my oil filter with ease from under the front. Prior to that I had to reach it from the top, and I usually dropped the damn...- SurfGuitar141
