    brakes

What year is it, does it have ABS? Not sure, but you might have to bring it to the dealer for bleeding if it does? Here is something from the FSM: PEDAL FALLS AWAY A brake pedal that falls away under steady foot pressure is generally the result of a system leak. The leak point could be at a...

    brakes

It don't have to leak to be a master cylinder. A wheel cylinder would leak for sure of it were bad. Or maybe some air in the lines? But that would always give you a spongy pedal.

Why is this CRD forum so dead?

Yeah, they can be alot of fun, I remember them on the old VW bugs, going back to the 60s and before, and they still are using them in 2011. Actually my Sprinters have lug bolts. I wonder if they use them on heavy trucks as well?

Why is this CRD forum so dead?

What else would you expect from a land of engineers. You Germans know what is the best, and most efficient. If we could only get the US to figure this out. We have a bunch of politicians deciding what is best based on the odor coming from the tail pipe. We are running mostly ancient technology...

GDE Eco Tune and NJ Emission Inspection

Winter is a bad time to have this done, if you can put it off till the summer when the engine is combustion more efficiently you would get better results. If they are going to be putting you on a dyno machine, make sure you can have all 4 wheels going at once in full time, I heard of some one...

    New fuel filter head

Did you get the plug? it goes near the fender, plug in the plug near the passenger side, then cut off then end of the remaining plug, and attached the new one with butt connectors or solder it. I have 2 of these, and I keep them both unplugged on the new connector any ways, it is a fuel heater.

Anyone with a cracked engine block?

You know what, I think all the modern diesels they are putting in light trucks and cars now a days are inferior, right along with the gassers. More aluminum makes them more inferior. Not to mention all the emission controls that screws thing up.
