2.4 L DD from 4.11 to 4.56 good idea?
I would look into this route. The stock gearing is usually engineered to give you enough power but also keep reasonable MPG. If you go to 4.56 you will gain bottom end, lose top speed, and probably lose MPG since you will be running higher RPM's when on highway where you get the best mileage...- 05kj6spd

The "Warped" Brake Disc and Other Myths
Had a problem like that after changing pads once. Turns out the bolts holding the bracket to the knuckle worked loose. No I didn't forget to tighten them they just worked loose after a little while. Now I check them whenever I am under there.- 05kj6spd

Anyone ever call superchips about a tuner? I imagine someone had too. I was under the idea that the 3.7 is a lot like the 4.7, heck sure look the same. All that means is your PCM and sensors adjust fuel levels to maintain a air/fuel ratio. The best ratio is 14.6 to 1 and you vehicle tries to maintain that. If you put more air in the the PCM puts more fuel in to get the ratio right. Means more power. Of course it will only go so far before...- 05kj6spd

I agree that you will want to look at PCM programming to change timing, to take advantage of any drastic changes. Cam and rockers should do something, as well as porting and polishing heads and intakes. A motor is a motor and anything you do to improve air flow in and out of an engine is going to increase the amount of HP and Torque it can produce. Driving a 4x4 without the front drive shaft?
4 wheel drive systems are setup quite the same as a front wheel drive so if you are driving on the front axle alone it does feel weird. Tail light question...
you may want to also check the fuses. There are two fuses for the parking lights, driver side and passsenger side, I have a bad socket which popped the fuse. How many folks here have castrated their KJ's?
Those help with vibrations and to dampen the rotational forces from accelerating removing it may cause vibes and speed up u-joint wear. Automatics would be less noticeable then a standard, I would recommend leaving them on a standard. Automatic you can give it a try.- 05kj6spd

Transfer case...???
Pretty sure your 231 is a 23 spline input. There was several different inputs a 21 spline, and 23 spline of different lengths. From what I can find you need the 23 spline short input. Staun Tyre Deflators
I have two sets of them and I like them. It's quick easy and fast. I usually put them on first and then disconnect sway bar and other things to get ready for the day. Then just take them off. Still pricey but I was looking at the JBA steel axle. $1500 for the housing, stuff it with whatever gears you need and maybe a locker if you are so inclined. If you get the housing and have the gears and bearings all installed you probably then swap it in a weekend. For axles I was thinking... -
