both the inlet and outlet hoses on our 06 were warm but not the same temp. I put the hose on the outlet side first ran water through, then inlet side. Second time on outlet side a bloop of pink snot came out. now the jeep gets hot.
Cover the fuel rail and ignition covers with plastic so you...
I had to flush my heater core to get our heat back. There is a good you tube video if you search. If I did it again I would cover the fuel rail and spark plugs on the passengers side with a trash bag. I was able to do it without pulling the hoses off the radiator overflow tank. I just moved...
Before I flushed the heater core there was a noticeable difference in temp in the inlet and outlet hoses from the firewall. I first flushed outlet in, then inlet, then outlet again. Second time I did the outlet side a goop of slime came out of the inlet side. After this the jeep interior gets...
So I flushed the heater core because the heat was not getting hot. Two days later I am getting a P0306. Did I mess up the plug and ignition coil.
What should I do to approach this?
Only about an inch of the copper piece coming from the union of the two negative wires was left, and was under a bolt on a lead terminal clamp. Volts dropped from 14.2 measures at the batter to 0.3 at that copper plate before the union of the two wires.
Now the terminal has has two nice...
I have been having some trouble starting since installing a new higher power stereo, which is likely just a coincidence.
My negative wire had a replacement lead battery terminal that you bolt the wire to. Testing it out with the VOM showed it was the problem. I had a similar problem with...
Checked out the Liberty's towing ability. Darn thing tows our Ski Nautique quite well. I do need to get a longer tow bar as we had to remove the spare to get the trailer on the bar. It is nice to have a backup vehicle to tow with. Also, the Liberty will be great to back into tight spaces with.
Installed a Sony double din head unit and a backup camera. I had the camera from an other vehicle, or would not have added it. Stock speakers sound way better with the sony head unit. it has a remote mic and bluetooth, with touch screen so answering call swill be easy.
Thought I screwed up...
your right they were. wjb was the brand. couldn't find a bad review on line but found plenty for the higher brand ones saying they were not the same quality and now made in China too. who knows could come from same factory. there has been nothing reject about them. beefier than the originals...
I forget the brand. they were $50 or less. I had read go name brand but I have never had a rock auto part with the heart symbol not perform for me and I read all the name brand ones are made overseas now so I went for it

Rock auto had hubs listed with hearts that have good reviews. that is what I installed and so far so good. I hit my bolts with a mix of acetone and aft a few days before. job would suck if u break or round one of those torn bolts. Mine were quite rusty. if I ever do again I will have a new set...
thanks for the reply. I kind of thought once I charged it it would come on but it's clearly cold so I will just enjoy. thanks

So I replaced my AC compressor, dryer, pulled and blew out hoses, new gaskets, etc.
Evacuated the system. Charged it.
It is blowing nice and cold air.
However, the light on the control unit does not come on when you press in the snowflake button. Pushing the button in does start...
If you can hear it, put some dawn in water in a spray bottle and hit the area, bubbles will show where it is. Mine leaked in the middle of the compressor body.
uss2defiant gave me a good list in this same section. Look for the thread I started.
He was spot on about the rubber boot on the propeller shaft.
Hopefully he did the thermostat when he did the water pump?
Seems like the radiators get a small leak around those miles.
Mine needs the AC...
