    Remote start for 2002?

I installed an Avital 4113 last year on our '06 and it works well.

    Random Misfire Conundrum

This is where I would start, also.

    Here's The Outcome......

I've always checked our Libby's ATF in Park. Now, the old RWD Chrysler transmissions (727/904) had to be in Neutral, as they didn't pump fluid in Park (the pump still ran, but there was an internal bypass).

    front diff/ transfer box enquiry

To clarify, no it does not lock the diff, but it locks the transfer case (50% to front and 50% to rear). In a turn, the front wheels are turning at a different rate of speed, so things get unhappy in a hurry.

    front diff/ transfer box enquiry

Yes, that is normal, and that's why you never want to put it in 4x4 on dry pavement (loose or slippery surfaces only). If you continue to do this, you will cause ($$$) damage to the transfer case.

Replaced my thermostat now worse than before.

Thermostats are one of those parts that I usually buy OEM. Sometimes I'll use a Superstat if one is available, but usually OEM. Seen too many issues with aftermarket 'stats.

So the resurfaced/new v-seats heads are on.

There's a bulletin for certain years of the 4.0...not sure about the 3.7. I just mentioned it because any engine can have a weak spring.

    Radiator and heater hose recommendations?

I have not replaced the heater hoses, but got my new radiator & hoses at NAPA...no problems.

So the resurfaced/new v-seats heads are on.

The low oil pressure could affect a lifter, which could cause a misfire, but it's strange that it's always just cyl #2. I once had a Cherokee 4.0 that had a persistent misfire on cyl #1. After beating my head against the wall for a while, I swapped the valve springs on that cyl and that fixed it.

    Oil low after 3 months

Gotta check the oil once in a while! :)

    2006 Liberty Sport Overhaul

From your compression test results, my best guess is that you do not have a blown head gasket, but simply a high-mileage engine that has somewhat lower compression due to normal wear. With a blown HG, I would expect to see one cyl, or two adjacent cyls, with much lower compression.

I use this DIY product and am happy with it. https://corrosionfree.com/

    2006 Liberty Sport Overhaul

Strange...dried coolant leaves obvious white stains/deposits. Any leak is normally clearly visible once the affected part is removed.

Geez, guys! Two pages of responses to this schmuck in less than 24 hours...I'd say he got what he was looking for! For future reference, it's best to just use something like this right away:

This is for luggage, so needs to be weather-resistant. We are looking at rooftop carriers, either bag or hard-case. Thanks for the replies.

I'm interested in hearing from anyone who has used a rooftop cargo bag or hard carrier on their KJ. How did it work, and what type/size did you use? Thanks!

Strut and Lower Control Arm Bushing Replacement - 2003 Liberty

I just did this job on our '06 4x4. I thought it was strange how some write-ups recommended pulling the clevis back into place with ratchet straps, and some didn't mention it. Well, the driver side fought me something fierce. Even with a ratchet strap, I still struggled. I got to the...
