I wheeled with a guy running that size. Didnt seem to look that much different from mine with 245/75/16's. I'd run them if they were cheaper; cost a little more than 245's.
Viair has brackets for various different vehicles. The one for the JK looks like it wouldn't be that hard to modify and make work in the KJ. I'd bet they make other brackets that might also be easily modified to make work. Worth checking into.
Check your ABS sensor wires coming from the hubs. They can break loose from their plastic clips and rub on the rotors or other parts up front. Also, since you were working on the rear brakes check the wires back there as well. A few people have had issues with the connector near the top of...
I'm just going off of what the dealership and the local shop across the street told me. Both said the same thing. I have read on here as well that the clutch wasn't serviceable / replaceable.
What parts and where did you get them from? Seriously interested as I have been having problems.
I'm not sure if it is the same for the diesels but when the clutch fails the whole compressor needs to be replaced. And shops usually wont warranty a compressor unless everything else is replaced as well.
