Sasquatch parts has a lot for the CRD. I believe they have upgraded transmission parts like improved pump, shift kit, torque converter, etc. Looking into some drydock time for mine to tackle some rust, and misc. maint.

    New to Jeeps

Hey, just ran across your post. I have an 05 CRD over here in Erie. Not such a fan of the cold. Especially with the newer style glow plugs. If you can, plug her in when the temp starts hitting the 20's, it'll be a lo easier on everything. The only time she left me sit was during and extreme cold...

02 Liberty 3.7 - New Crank Sensor now No Start

I used to do the same with control relays. Every time one opens up, you get some amount of arcing, which damages the contacts, especially with DC. Sometimes it's minimal, other times its pretty substantial, depending on how much amperage is being controlled. In certain situations, we would...

Not Jeep But is Chrysler... Overcooling

I believe those would be contributors to overHEATing, but the issue appears to be running cold.

    Jeep Liberty values?

There are issues with the 3.7 valve train. A sticky lifter can cause the rocker arm to fall off, and go for a tour under the valve cover. There are aftermarket clips to help prevent that. Same issue as the 4.8 V8 Magnum engine it's based on. Also valve seats can drop. Did you pull the heads yet...

Not Jeep But is Chrysler... Overcooling

Since everything seems normal, perhaps something had been restricting the cooling system somewhere, and either dissolved or otherwise moved along. I assume it's been the same in the non 12F degree days (I'm in Erie, PA). My CRD is a bit lower than normal lately.

Not Jeep But is Chrysler... Overcooling

You've just solved global warming. Just hook your cooling system up to the planet. So, in theory, the T'stat stays shut until it reaches opening temperature. Normally, you see this as the temp rises and then drops, as a slug of cold water from the radiator enters the engine. the temp stabilizes...

    Wet Floors

There should be a drain for the A/C / Heater box. If you pour water down the vents at the base of the windshield, that should be where the water drains... Unless they're clogged with pine s***t, then they'll drain into the cabin.

02-07 (KJ) Polyurethane Front Differential Bushings

Ah yes I remember it well. Especially the engine section that gets too greasy to make out after a while. I used to be able to switch out an engine in 30-40 minutes with a decent floor jack lol

    Parasitic draw

I'm with TimGray. Methinks someone tied into the wiring harness for something. My 2005 cigarette lighter socket stays active when the ignition is switched off. Check for antenna amplfiers, audio amps, etc. Security systems. BTW, how much draw are we talking?

    Drive shaft ?

I would think if it was something in the diff that siezed, things would have gone squirrelly if you were going down the highway and something locked up enough to shear a pinion. I would also think that the transfer case would have been trying to still spin the drive shaft, I would see if you can...

Hard brake pedal after I did heatercore.

Brake issue sounds like the brakes are dragging and heating up the fluid until it boils. Check that the service brake pistons move properly, you shouldn't need a c clamp to push the pistons back into the caliper. check to make sure the sliders for the caliper aren't stiff. The caliper should...

2006 Jeep liberty has a rumbling noise coming from underneath

Last time there was a rumbling from under my jeep, I had asked my wife to turn the wheel while I looked at the front drive shaft, she turned the jack handle.

Hi, My only issue with a sticky throttle was the floor mat handing up on it. Get a WeatherTech set. they are molded and never had that problem since. The throttle is an electronic sender right there at the pedal, so shouldn't be that hard to diagnose. I bought my EGR delete on Ebay... er I mean...
