    KJ model towbar wearing problems

You should just be able to replace the ball. The ball is typically bolted on to a ball mount, that slides into the hitch. Here is an example of a hitch ball Here is an example of a ball mount that slides into the reciever. They bolt up together like this You can buy either...

    KJ model towbar wearing problems

Pick up a new tow ball. In the states they are only about 10 dollars and put some grease on this one and you should be fine.

new lift now i hear clunk noise

Its both the height and the style of spacer that make an effect. Adding the spacer outside the strut assembly allows the wheel to droop too far and the upper a-arm swings right into the spring. You don't need to new a-arms. Adding a rubber bump stop like shown below can fix the problem...

new lift now i hear clunk noise

Sounds just like UBJ contact on the springs. Read this other thread about clunks when installing a lift. http://www.lostkjs.com/forum/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=13709

new lift now i hear clunk noise

I'm willing to bet it is upper ball joint contact. I doubt its the CVs. That can handle way more angles than most people thing. Just look at the angle they are at when you turn and it doesn't clunk then. Jack up your Jeep so that the front wheels suspension unloads and see if you have this...

    Wrangler Roll

Man I'm not sure where it is. But I have hundreds of videos of Libertys doing things you guys wouldn't believe from moab last year. I'll see if I can get some of the better ones up.

NEED A INNER TIE ROD FOR A 2006 LIBERTY ,HELP

Here you go. This is just for a Jeep liberty in general. I don't believe they have changed anything in the steering through the years, i could be wrong though. Did you do a physical side by side comparison? Alot of times it takes manufacturers a little time to update their data bases...

    No more air in tires

Just another gimmick for every day driver. Been long discussed about everywhere else on the web too. http://www.cartalk.com/content/columns/Archive/1997/September/05.html http://hybridcars.about.com/od/hybridcarfaq/f/NitrogenInTires.htm

    Spark Plugs Recommendation

I've always use the v-power and had good luck. Just change them out every 25k and all should be good. BTW, the stock plugs are V-Power ZFR6F-11G. I believe NGK has a typo on their site. The ZFR6F-11G's are even listed on a sticker under the hood in the front of the vehicle.

    Powertrax or air locker?

I'm actually more than happy with my power-trax no-slip. For what it is, I think it offers great bang for the buck and would do it again. If you are careful on the road you should be fine. However an ARB is nice but 3-4 times the cost.

    Badlands, Indiana

There has got to be tons of place in upstate NY. You have the huge Adirondack Park. What about all the old township, logging, oil, forest roads? I'v always heard upstate NY was pretty remote. I agree the badlands is a nice area. However, it's still just a small 1sqr mile or so park...

    Got a BJ last week

Here is something else I found. http://www.nlectc.org/pdffiles/EvaluationBrakePads2000.pdf Looks like a good unbiased, repeatable test. Maybe ceramic pads are not as good as everyone says.

    Got a BJ last week

Probably, there is even a TSB for the issue on brake squeal. Mine got so loud on a 4wd trip to colorado last year that you could hear me from a mile away. Sounded just like the metal on metal contact you get when your pads are completely gone. Surprising you mention the issue with ceramic...

    A-Arms and Height Difference?

Yup all KJs sit about 1/4 or so higher on the right. If you go over to LOST its been discussed a few times.

    Got a BJ last week

Ceramic pads are suppose to be quieter and brake better. The pads you are talking about are mainly some sort of large metallic content pad used in racing. Some info about ceramic pads http://www.tirerack.com/brakes/tech/techpage.jsp?techid=88 The KJ just uses some sort of semi-metallic...

    Got a BJ last week

I agree. Napa always carries top quality parts. Just ask any auto mechanic where he get his parts. Usually Napa, Carquest or some local place. Autozone is a little cheaper, but you do get what you pay for. Autozone is the walmart/k-mart of auto parts.
