by hand itll be a lot of work. id give it 2 days. soooo, if you have the extra $40-80 go by a buffer with a speed setting. that will still take about 2-4 hrs but itll be so much easier and look way better. my jeep is black and itll be getting buffed before winter. i dread it lol.
i tried the black tape on the lens a few yrs ago. kinda blacked out the top 1/4 at an angle. looked kinda mean but i just couldnt get used to it. also blocked some of my light so i took it off.
i would just drag a long stick on the ground. if you press hard enough itll stop you. nail it to the door so as to get a lever point and itll be like drum vs disc. the nail helps if you get the right point of contact.
turns out it is the alternator pulley/bearings. its kinda hard to get it to free wheel with the belt off. also cranked the engine for about 5 seconds and there was no noise at all. its possible it is another pulley, but it doesnt feel like it. the rest spin free. got the 160amp alt so good for...

i move the tank over. i dont like the idea of not being dead straight above the plug
when i put pressure on it to remove it. it would suck ass if you broke it off. i never use swivels on plugs.
