44 bucks(per truck or per person in truck) for 3 days wheeling, plus 16 bucks a night(32 bucks) camping, I might bring my dad... and 4 tanks of gas(assumed).... 276 bucks for a 3 day vacation of wheeling. 308 for an extra 2 days of camping for relaxing purposes.- TruLiberty

oxydation is corrosive and active...it makes sense that it would damage that insulation. if its not bolted in right tho, it might be too close to that insulation causing that.- TruLiberty

it wont happen usually on the negative post, doesn't have active current running through it. the oxydation is from electricity and the lead and moisture in the air. nothing you can do about it really, the caps help but not a ton. just happens to be the type of metal on that particular battery...- TruLiberty
