well, at 66,000 miles, i had BOTH cylinder heads replaced under warranty! a little more extreme than a head gasket, would you say? they said i had LOST compression in cylinders 5 and 6, and i had been throwing codes that said cylinder 6 misfire. thank goodness for the code reader i bought.

    Aftermarket air filter

I have a 9" K&N cone filter, and have no complaints. i dont understand how an air filter can be so harmfull. mine is freakin FILTHY, and i get better gas mileage with it dirty than clean. less air suckin in = less gas bein used? i guess a dirty filter acts like a factory air filter/airbox...

First jeep! (and my first guestion)

I'll chime in and agree that the fronts are better/louder than the rears. but it sounds like your rear speakers are substantially quieter, maybe there is a different situation that others of us have. you bought a jeep, now start disassembling the thing and fix or modify it! LOL good luck! Bob

    Ride with a lift

comparing my 2 week old lift to the 60,000 mile suspension that it replaced....the lift is way better feeling. much firmer and feels more "together" on the highway. i havent widened the stance, but i can see where that might make it feel even better.
