Anyone interested in a new how-to
Looking at my FSM it doesn't seem that you would need to do all of that - the only item it says needs to be removed is the front grille, then you should be able to access the headlamp unit to remove it. PM inbound.- Corwyyn

No idea. I haven't delved into what the TomToms use on their display (image type, 2D/3D, etc). you might try the forums on www.gpspassion.com to see if there is info on making custom car icons. Just to be clear you are talking about the Hella 500 driving lights, right? I have my 500s wired as shown in the diagram, the only change I made was that I did not put a switch in the system so the ONLY time they will come on is with the high beams which makes sense as they are designed to...- Corwyyn

Cylinder Numbers
It's not too uncommon to get a bad plug in a set - I bought six when I changed mine a couple of months ago and the one I put in #5 was buggered so I put one of the old ones back in until I could go to the store and buy a replacement. At least they're cheaper than a new coil :rolleyes:- Corwyyn

U-Haul Hitch
I bought and installed a U-haul class III hitch and it fit just fine - all the holes lined up and the hardware was the proper size/thread. They could have written the number down wrong when they went to the storeroom to get it, the guy could be dyslexic, or it could have been labeled wrong...- Corwyyn

Bumpers swiped, hood keyed.

Hella 500's mounting question?
Yep, it's one of the first mods I did to the Jeep: It's easier to mount them to the '02-'04 front bumpers than it is on the '05+ model front bumpers. If you're planning on drilling thru the bumper here is a pic with some dimensions (because of the angle the 3 1/2" measurement looks shorter...- Corwyyn

Retrofit Serpentine belt for A.C. Bypass

Site running slow
I've noticed over the past week or so that the site has been slowing down - takes more time to refresh a thread after posting, occasionally the site seems to hang and I have to close the tab and reopen it to the main page to get back in (in Firefox).
