Help with 02 Rear Axle Replacment
See if the "new" unit has Trac-Lok (in that case you'll need a friction modifier) and you can get with dino oil instead syn... ah! and 80W90 should do it either... Good luck! :)- AlexKJ

Cover bolts.......
My owners manual states only syn 75W140 for front diff and 80W90 rear. The '04 PDF owner manual states the same for the front diff, but changes to 75W90 rear. Both says 75W140 rear if you tow.- AlexKJ

New Belt and Tensioner... Do It!
I'm became paranoid so I just bought a new OEM belt (P/N 5135745AA for USD 89.80) and I'm getting a new Dayco tensioner (P/N 89254 for USD 84.41 shipping, taxes and fees included) from Rockauto.com :D- AlexKJ

Spacers on a suspension lift?
OK sir! I get you now! :) ... I get confused because British Leyland installed an assembly factory here in Chile in the '70s... Here, the Mini Mk II (fiberglass or steel body, 850cc, 998cc and 1275cc) aren't so expensive and you found easily all kind of parts... Cheers! :)- AlexKJ

What tires do I need?
I've only found LT245/75R16 MT/R's with E load range... I was thinking in just a C load range... but again, only the LT31x10.5R15 have load rating C... Why these things are never easy.... :( UPDATE: Well... researching a little here and over LOST most people running 31'' C load range MT tires...- AlexKJ

I think that too... but isn't enough information about backspacing and such... I don't want to rub in the suspension components and don't want to tear off my fenders (but I'm willing to trim *a little* here and there)... And, of course, I want to gain suspension travel... This is not for...- AlexKJ

What tires do I need?
I want either 265mm or 10.5'', and 16'' or 15'' rims. Why? Where I live, the Moab rims are rather rare... each goes about USD 320 new :eek: What should I do then? Change the rims or modify the steering? Sadly no... that why I started pondering about 15'' rims...- AlexKJ

What tires do I need?
The KJ has almost 70,000 km (43,500 mi) and 7 years old... and the tires (G-Y SR-A 235/70R16) are getting tired :D Well... It's time to start some research about tires, rims, lifts, etc... and here are the first of many many questions... :p I wanna go for either 31x10.5R15 or 265/70R16...- AlexKJ
