Since the lift is on my roof rack bangs against my garage door top.
I have a generic brand roof rack and cross bars - performs well but, I was wondering is there's still a low profile roof rack for the KJ available that does NOT need cross bars installed and does not break the bank?

Not familiar with fluid film, is it better for this application?

after reading fluid film product description I am pretty sure you are wrong - it is petroleum based lubricant...
basically you just cut straight through the line which represents the middle of the fog light height?
how complicated is it to remove the front bumper?
I hear loud metal to metal thuds when steering is turned and I go over a small bump (front front left suspension). Main suspects: sway bar bushings (simple) and sway bar end links.
If replacing the bushings won't help I'll replace the end links.

I was searching the forum for instructions/'howtos' on modding/trimming the STOCK 02-04' KJ bumper, couldn't find any.
My main goals for the mod:
- No extra $$$ (or very little) - not interested in after-market steel bumpers etc
- Better off roading approach angle / prevent damage
- Looks...
My fuel gauge on the 03 KJ acts really weird. From half to empty happens 3X faster/less mileage than from full to half. Can't trust it. Maybe that explains why it behaves like that.

Can't understand how a 4" lifted Libby rubs with 265/70/16s and 2.5" lifted does not.
This is the reason I went with 245s but not sure I made the right choice since I got plenty of space around them.
Is the sag that bad on the 4" lift dude1116? is the rubbing on the front plastic well or on...
I haven't posted yet a photo with the 245s ATs mounted.
I'm more concerned about the additional 1" width and grip than the zero point something additional height of the tire.

I did it at big O tires, as they were the only ones to offer me a full year warranty for the alignment. The difference in prices is staggering, I paid 100$ for their incompetence (and additional 120$ for mounting 5 tires/dumping 4).
Last time I checked I was sitting on 22.5 inch pretty level...
