Front Hitch for 2007 KJ
I've been hunting for a front receiver hitch for my 06 Renegade Liberty but no luck. Some of the Hitch dealers sell a "universal" hitch that looks like it might work. set it up then weld everything together and it should hold up to winch work. Anyone know welding
I bought a Hobart 140. Took one community college welding class years ago. The wire feed is great because you can weld some pretty thin stuff and also can weld up to a 1/4 inch. With a bottle of inert gas you can lay down some pretty welds with some practice. Plug it into a 30 amp 110 outlet but...- candpliberty

We live in Las Vegas and have never seen more than half. We have a 06 renegade with trans cooler, automatic and 3.7. Either at 85 going over the rockies or rock crawling at 2 mph, never over half.- candpliberty

New to Offroading
The engineers at Mopar left a fist size hole in the skid plate for getting the drain bolt in and out. The filter is a pain to get to but after 2 oil changes I am getting neater at it. First time was a absolute mess! make sure you have something to catch all the oil you are going to spill...- candpliberty

Dead Power Outlet
06 renegade, automatic. The smoker kit that the dealer gave us kept blowing fuses so we pulled the cig lighter from our 98 chrysler sebring coupe. Worked like a charm and have not blown a fuse since. BTW, our cig lighter is hot(power on) all the time which is cool to charge cell phones, gps...- candpliberty

Considering buying a Liberty
Had our renegade for 9k miles. have the v-6. went from 12-14 mpg to 14 city 22 highway. incredible change with nothing more than quality oil changes. Aftermarket stuff for liberty is not as extensive as other jeeps.- candpliberty
