Dead Power Outlet

My front power outlet (cigar lighter) is dead! I changed the fuse (num. 31 according to my manual) and it didn't fix anything. Any ideas? Different fuse? The rear one works fine.

Maybe the socket is completely dead use a tester and try it

Try fuse #1, I think that is what mine is.

06 renegade, automatic. The smoker kit that the dealer gave us kept blowing fuses so we pulled the cig lighter from our 98 chrysler sebring coupe. Worked like a charm and have not blown a fuse since. BTW, our cig lighter is hot(power on) all the time which is cool to charge cell phones, gps, and mp3 player.
