Maybe they will turn it for $10, but I've not found anybody who'll touch one for under $20, new rotor for the liberty start at $15 according to rock auto.
most if not all of the aftermarket rotors are from china (even some good names you'd think wouldn't farm out production), so I would not be...
You can just swap pads if it's not too glazed. Maybe a light sanding to freshen the surface.
Last time I had rotors that needed to be turned it was more economical to buy new. used to be a few bucks to get a rotor turned, in our area I couldn't find anybody to turn them for less than $20 a...
The pans should be the same too. Car Parts. Com shows 3.7 liberty 2002-03 on the pan. Later years may work but you have to see where the drain plug is and if it's in the way of anything.
Far as the 3.7 it's the same engine 2wd and 4wd .
Oh, to pull the engine you'll need to get the intake off...
Assuming all is well with the motor, the code he gets for SKIM in a non SKIM jeep would make me think the PCM has a problem. Unless something else can cause a similar failure. If it's not the PCM then, it's a hunt for a random fault somewhere.

What may have happened is the SKIM system erroneously thinks it should have a chipped key.
If is doesn't even have a SKIM at all and gives that code I would guess it's a bad PCM.

Did it run before? What it's doing now is what it does when it started with a key cut for the lock but not paired to the computer.

IMHO Got to be cracked. Never seen a radiator where sealing depended on a bolt from the condenser. Wouldn't take the pressure either.

The high side seems correct the low for me needs to be 35-45, in the 40 range the ac starts to feels good front and back. That is with dual Ac and in the July heat. The FSM had 50 psi low side as being right for the 250 psi high.
My harbor freight mana food and gauges does not read the low...
What does it do when you rev the engine?
Mine does the same thing, not full articulation of the idler that it bangs. But it bounces at idle with the ac on. Rev it and/or hold the rpm up its smooth. I don't remember what the old tensioner did.
Btw it's a brand new mopar idler...
I get that. I don't think of it that way because I'm always checking fluids.
I've seen perfectly good cars in junk yards sold for scrap for very stupid reasons. Talking Minimal maintenance, me and friend would sometimes flip them if there was a good title.

You might try a thicker oil. And get a good filter on it.
Big deal will be is if the is a pressure switch failure and the level is low aspirating the oil.
When my old crud encrusted engine the oil pickup the warning light would come on and it sounded like hell rattling. In that case fluid was...
Good idea a lot of things powered by the belt can cause confusing sounds when they start to fail.
Oil level is worrying.

Now ya got a truck you'll need a trailer queen jeep to tow to the trail. ;)
I like the f150, it does not feel like a truck at all. On the hwy it has incredible manners, plus as you say room to pack things in.
Mine is the older 07 with 330 motor. I'm sure the newer models have a improved ride...
Those pans are a PITA to separate from the motor. Even if you get enough room to access it you it will be a hassle to break lose.

I don't have the dorman dipstick, I do have a similar one to read the nag1 transmission, there should be a cold and hot running in park readings. I topped it off with atf 4 at the bottom of the cold range then topped it off again after about 12 miles of driving.
Depending how he did the flush...
There will be more maintenance kind of things just because it is 4x4, things like axel fluid, transmission & transfer case fluid at more frequent intervals.
On the 3.7 engine I'd look at it real hard for signs of sludge. Basically if the past owner had oil changes on schedule. That and any...
I doubt the pan gasket is leaking. The way it works it very unlikely to suddenly leak. Valve cover and crank seal (and rear main) are more likely.
White smoke is usually coolant related. Now bluish would be oil.
I'd check the fluid levels and see whats happening over time.

Oh, the other part dealer technicians recommended replacing is the Crank sensor and cam. Supposedly if the signal is wrong at idle it can do exactly what described. I've read of plenty who did replace it with no results.
The commander transmission is that Mercedes NAG1, it is ok far as...
