    SandRacer's '07 Liberty

Sounds like the exact same reasons why we bought our 2007 Liberty. We needed something with an accessible back seat for our older parents who visit us here in Vegas. And we needed something that can get us around in the desert and mountains here in southern NV for camping, hiking, geocaching...

    05-07 EVIC Specs

I have aluminum wheels so that is not an issue. The problem is that I don't think that I have the receivers(triggers) in the wheel wells that receive the in-wheel sensor signal. So let me ask you this...did your Rocky Mountain Edition have the pressure idiot light on the dash or nothing at...

    05-07 EVIC Specs

I have a premium BCM according to the documentation I have found (I have keyless entry and fog lights) so that is step one. That might be the reason that the EVIC doesn't scream at me about the lack of TPMS on startup. When I'm inspired, I might take the time to do all of the research, but I...

    05-07 EVIC Specs

I definitely can read a service manual. I rebuild motors from the bearings up, tune turboed motors, recondition entire car interiors, do body and paint, etc. I guess I just need to buy a 2007 Liberty service manual. What I though might be the TPMS receivers actually are airbag deployment...

    05-07 EVIC Specs

P05 2005 EVIC arrived today. Homelink and TPMS. The mounting bracket should be coming early next week so I could not install it, but I did rig it up to see if it works and voila, it does! Temp, MPG, etc. The unit did not nag me about tire pressure on startup which is a different behavior...

    Yet another Skid Question

I asked this a few days ago with no replies. The stock Mopar front skid, while sturdy, seems to dip low and take up some of the precious ground clearance the Libby has. I'd love to see a comparison between the Mopar and aftermarkets. I might just pull off my Mopar skid this weekend to see how...

Oil Leak-My 10 Day Old Liberty

Looks like it was a bad filter gasket. The dealer put on a new filter and cleaned the engine bay where the oil had leaked. After a 30 mile drive home, no more leaking. Woot!

    EVIC/OTIS FAQ

Hmmm....that part number does not come up in the Mopar parts catalog anywhere. Are you giving me a part number to order or are you giving me the pinout for the EVIC pigtail so I can rig something myself? BTW...This IS my first Mopar product. I'm not familiar with the whole parts scene for...

    EVIC/OTIS FAQ

I think it's hit and miss. If it is still in the vehicle, you can request them to cut the pigtail off with some wiring. If it's been in someone's inventory for a while, you never know. If mine shows up without it, I'm either going to go for a cheap eBay unit that will not work BUT has a...

    EVIC/OTIS FAQ

Titan is right, you are going have to scour the country via computer and phone to find one. The chances of finding one in a local junkyard is a total crap shoot. I have an EVIC from a 2005 coming from Wisconsin and I live 1500 miles away in Nevada. Take your time, be diligent, and you...

    2006-2007- No LSD Option?

There seems to be alot of people who are pretty happy with the Traction Control System over at lostkj.com. I suppose that it's like having an electronically controlled LSD on both axles. I'll just have to test it out this weekend!

    2006-2007- No LSD Option?

It's better than the LSD? Anybody have any real world experience that backs that up? Maybe I'm just too old skool to appreciate technology over a good 'ol mechanical solution.

    2006-2007- No LSD Option?

It seems that there is no Trac-Loc option for the 2006-2007 Libbys. I could find no official info about the dropping of that option starting in 2006. Does DC really feel that the traction control can replace a real LSD? Anybody have any experience with the 06-07 traction control in squirrley...

    Aftermarket Front Skid vs. OEM

Are there any aftermarket skids that tuck up under the car better than the OEM Mopar skids? I've been reading that the OEM skid hangs lower than it has to which doesn't help a Libby's already diminutive clearance.

Oil Leak-My 10 Day Old Liberty

Oil is not low. I would be less concerned if it was just a oil film, but I'm seeing oil actively dripping from the filter (I don't know how fast, but fast enough to run down the channel an drip off onto the skid plate.)

Oil Leak-My 10 Day Old Liberty

I was doing a close inspection of the front end of my 07 Libby Sport last night, looking for TMPS sensors in the wheel wells, when I noticed oil on the skid plate. Hmmmm....I stuck my hand up in the skid access hole and behold, more oil in the oil drain "channel" that runs from under the oil...

Anyone have a pic of a Rusty's lift with stock tires?

The more I think about it, the less I want bigger tires. It changes the speedo and saps power. Max 1" bigger if at all. I'd rather just get clearance with the lift. Any experiences (good and bad) with bigger tires that you might want to share? Sorry for asking lots of newbie questions, but...

    05-07 EVIC Specs

Thanks for the info on the mounting bracket. I'll just have to wait and see if it comes with it. If not, I'll pick up one from one of the Mopar parts stores online.

    05-07 EVIC Specs

I just scored an EVIC from a wrecked '05 with the part number of 56010520AD. The only thing I know about it is that it has sunroof controls, I'm not sure if it has Homelink and/or TPMS or the pixel-based display. Does anyone have this model? Searching around the net did not yield any info and...

    EVIC/OTIS FAQ

Thanks! I think I have everything I need to find and install an EVIC. Looks like finding one is more difficult than the install.
