What is IIRC? and not knowing enough about it, when you are talking tenths of an inch, does it matter that much? I thought the problem arose from the width of the tire not so much the sidewall.
This may sound dumb or may have been addressed a million times over the years, what about the 235/75/16's? I have the 225/75's and would like a tad wider tire, but have no intention of lifting the KJ so I know the 240's are out.
I did check the spare, and it was fine. I rechecked the tires yesterday in the daylight, not the fluorescent lights in my garage as I did the night before. Upon examining my pass front again, it was a tad low and I added some air. Light went off. Something must be in the tire, although I...
My apologies, it is an 06. I would have never thought of checking the spare. For some reason I thought it only meant the rolling tires. Maybe the increased air pressure could be the reason I feel like I'm on ice when it rains.
I started my car after work today and I got an indicator light on the dash and freaked out. Checked my owners manual to see it was the tire pressure. My 2 rear tires were lower than the front, but still above the recommended 33psi it says inside my drivers door. The tires say 44 psi max...
From what I gathered the Renegade isn't any higher than any other KJ. I always thought the Renegade was just a "looks" package. I removed my factory rock rails and installed a set of Mopar black tube steps. I needed daily function over off road function. They were pretty easy to install. A...
I wasn't calling your comment bs, I was simply stating how they told you they were "built to order" and I walked in off the street and bought a set. I found it odd as I can't image a back log on KJ floor liners. No hard feelings.
I own a set and I like them. My only gripe is they don't come up high enough near the gas pedal so I still get the right side wall a bit dirty. I don't know about waiting 10 days to get them for "built to order", I walked right into the showroom in Downers Grove, IL and purchased a pair. I...
Dude, it took me over a minute to figure out what you did. I was like "what's so big about the green?" Man do I feel stupid...lol By the way, nice job, it looks cool.
Funny, I am surprised at how little traction this thing has in the rain that the traction control is comming on all the time. Even if I feather the throttle it can't get a grip. I would like to say it is my crappy Goodyear Wrangler ST tires, but I can't tell for certain. I will know the truth...
The floor mats in my Explorer where like concrete by the end of the winter. I soaked them in hot water (in the tub) for a few hours and Oxicleaned them. Needless to say, the salt bleached the mats, and then never did regain their fabric feel. Felt more like a broom. Now I have Weather Tech...
I couldn't even tell there was an aftermarket muffler on that thing. I will say, and it coulda been the camera, but it looked like that thing got up and moved.
I would bet somewhere on the flyer it says "for most vehicles" on it, like all bogus advertising does. I love when someone advertises something for a certain price and when you go in they change it becuase your model is different. In this case, it seems way expensive. Although when I had my...
