Tire Size Considerations
What is IIRC? and not knowing enough about it, when you are talking tenths of an inch, does it matter that much? I thought the problem arose from the width of the tire not so much the sidewall.- RenegadeJay

Tire Size Considerations
This may sound dumb or may have been addressed a million times over the years, what about the 235/75/16's? I have the 225/75's and would like a tad wider tire, but have no intention of lifting the KJ so I know the 240's are out.- RenegadeJay

My apologies, it is an 06. I would have never thought of checking the spare. For some reason I thought it only meant the rolling tires. Maybe the increased air pressure could be the reason I feel like I'm on ice when it rains.- RenegadeJay

salt stains on carpet...
The floor mats in my Explorer where like concrete by the end of the winter. I soaked them in hot water (in the tub) for a few hours and Oxicleaned them.
