What are you refering to? The lower control arm to strut bushings? The splines on the hub? Am I missing something?

The ironic part is that they brag about their customer service and how award winning it is. lol

Viper 5101 Remote Start Keyless Entry, Omega ChDL4-P

I recently installed a Viper 5101 Remote Start Keyless Entry unit with an Omega CHDL4-P vehicle interface in my 2003 Jeep Liberty. The installation instructions were okay if you're familiar with remote car starters, but there were parts of it that were very vague. The installation manual is...

Need help! F***** up head unit install!

Exactly. $20 for a universal Chrysler installation kit from Target that includes the dash inserts & wiring harness pigtails...a little bit of soldering and heat shrinking...you're good to go.

Renegade hood on a non-Renegade liberty

rofl2.gif So true. So true. I really don't see what the big whoop-tee-do is over the flat hoods. Don't a bazillion other vehicle have flat hoods?

    *Bearing sale*

Dumb question, but what's included in the master kit? I'm probably going to be doing new bearings and seals for my 8.25 this spring. They're beginning to howl.

Jeep Liberty Tailgate will not open

Did you find a solution to the problem? I'm curious because our '06 does the same thing randomly.

Rockauto has some awsome prices and great customer service. They would be my first suggestion.

    remote starter install

A piece of advice. When it comes time to program the bypass module the instructions will call for you to power the ignition up with the use of a jumper wire. Basically what you're doing is programing the bypass module as if it were a extra key. Rather than mess with a jumper wire, I just...

Hey Shaffer......Re: the Champlain Bridge .......

Sorry I didn't catch your post. I don't visit this section all that much. My girlfriend and I took a ride out to the bridge site after they blew it up. It was pretty cool. It amazes me that they think nothing of dropping all that crap into Lake Champlain, but they treat Lake George as a...

    Extinction

Couldn't have said it better myself. These past 2+ years have been the worst because our appartment lease agreement says no vehicle maintenance of any kind. It's the #1 reason I want out of here!

    Auto Transmission Flushing

Also, your transmission only has one filter, mine has two(45RFE).

    Auto Transmission Flushing

That's about right. I paid $300 to have a flush and both filters changed in my KJ. When they were finished they did a quick learn. A standard flush was $75 though.

    Auto Transmission Flushing

I did this with my '96 Blazer(4L60E) with no ill effect, and with my '88 Ford Taurus (AX4N). The only reason I haven't done it with my Jeep is because: I'm still making payments on my Jeep. It's only about $50 for the professional flush after you factor in the cost of the fluid. I don't...

Wish I could afford this New Hood!

I've seen those hoods before. I don't really care for the way they look. I would much rather have a more traditional cowl induction hood, you know, where the opening is next to the windsheild. It would really blend in with the lines of the Liberty and appear "factory" since the Liberty already...

    Bump Stop Removal

I did my lift in the middle of winter. I found it much, much easier to get the new bump stops in by running them under hot water for about 5-10 minutes to soften the rubber up, then lubing the sockets on the jeep with some dish soap to make the new ones slip right in.

    Remtoe starter

I installed one in mine. It wasn't too bad. I haven't wired up the keyless entry though.

    selectrac problem

I would start by checking the transfer case fluid, but it almost sounds like there may be a problem with the differential within the transfer case, especially since it's isolated to only the full-time position. If it were in other 4wd positions I would venture to say it was in the front...
