ESP video
Randomly found this video on YouTube. It shows a side by side video of a vehicle running a snow covered slalom with and with out the ESP turned on. At first I thought the Jeep after the Nitro was a new KJ, but then I'm thinking more likely a Commander or Patriot. What do you all think...- Mick

Technical Q on '04 KJ headlights. Adding a headlight flasher
A while back I took some pictures of a couple of KJs used at a local fire dept. http://jeepkj.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=38766&highlight=#38766 I have never seen them with their lights on, but it looks like that they use those strobes mounted in the front grille.- Mick

Wow, that is a huge list of units. On a conversion side note I wanted to add that I like to use google. For example just type in '40 psi to bar' and the google calculator will spit out "40 pounds per square inch = 2.75790292 bar". This is good for all kinds of conversions and calculations. If...- Mick

Good to know.. parking brake doesn't do much.. until
Mine dose the same thing. It holds tight about 50% of the time (although near the very top of the lever) and then the other times it doesn't do a thing. I'm going to bring this up when I take it in for the LBJs.- Mick

Tell me what you guys think about this
I tap the brakes too to wake up people and tell them something is happening up ahead. If I'm really slowing down or almost stopping in a place where someone wouldn't expect it I'll flip the hazards on too.- Mick

Asheville city has a white one too, I think it might be with the water service. I normally see it in the mornings in that construction area on 40. And then, someone over in Haywood county has a sign business. He has a white KJ with lots of yellow flashing lights (like a tow truck) that he uses...- Mick

Vent Visors
I found this just the other day. Rolled down the two back windows on the highway and thought my eardrums were going to rupture. Seriously, it hurt. If you have not experienced what we are talking about try rolling down just the back windows while you are up at highway speeds. I doubt a visor...- Mick

Pinstripe removal?
I've used a blow dryer to remove decals before. It heats up the glue and peels right off. Not sure if it would have the same affect on the pin-stripping or not.- Mick
