    What do I need to remove the rock rails/running boards?

    The tubes on my Jeep are really starting to rust and I want to get rid of them. I'm gonna ask my mechanic to remove them next time her has it up on the lift, but I'm wondering if anything needs to be done once removed, to prevent rust or rot.

    Now see, when I had mine replaced, the light came on and stayed on. Luckily the Stealership claimed it was on when I pulled in, despite having a video of the dashboard from a few days earlier showing it not on. They also couldn't identify what is causing the light to come on with their computer.

    When I had one for my Oldsmobile, I zip tied the holder to the frame. No chance of it falling off. The thing to remember about those rare earth magnets is that they are usually just chrome plated, and any defect will cause them to rust apart.
