Strange coolant temp behavior.
The mechanical fans helps a ton when you're in stop and go. It always runs and when you accelerate it sounds like a jet from the fan fully locking on.... and AC stays super cold always!- HoosierJeeper

What did you do to your jeep today?
Yesterday: got a CEL and service 4WD light in the Rene, pulled into the dealer and got it booked for Monday morning. TCheck engine light went out today, service 4wd remains. Getting a U1440 code, I did a search on google and couldn't find much. It sounds like the code is saying the gear ratio...- HoosierJeeper

Correct! But then I ended up getting a WK down the road anyway. Then traded that in for a KL Cherokee. Kept the KJ though!- HoosierJeeper

I bought mine back in 07 because I didn't want a Grand Cherokee! Would've done a Commander but fell in love with the KJ. Got 212k on it now, most of it has been replaced, but I love it! It's been a great companion.- HoosierJeeper

Finally got it off road! Only mods were a Valkyrie rear diff skid plate - and that sure took a beating! I went with a lifted Nissan Frontier and a lifted 4 door JK.
