Was looking around today and noticed that the coils have rub marks on them and don’t sit centered on the perches. Like I said earlier at full flex I can see the very top of the coil where it rests on the isolator and move it around. First 3 are passenger side and last 2 are drivers. Is this...
I just took it off road and hit the rails hard, not on purpose lol but had to keep up. Skids and front bumper took a beating! Everything held up good. Rock rails just needed some paint, but no bends or anything. I think the Rene would suffer damage before the rails would. KJ is probably the...
.....I put RRO sliders on the renegade. I was super hesitant at first given the rep of RRO on here but it was either these or Daystar ones that required drilled 60 holes for rivets. These used existing holes and well nuts for the top part and the bottom is bolted to the pinch seam. They fit...
Mopar Tstat is made my Motorrad, at least the Mopar one I bought in 2017 was. Not sure they have different specs or not for aftermarket/OE. I wonder if the jiggle valve could be stuck? I've always burped mine one of two ways, just filling up the rad tank, letting it idle with the heat on till it...
Also check the rear CV on the front driveshaft. Mine hummed for a few years and then became a chain dragging sound. Boot cracks and flakes away, grease dries out, joint falls apart.
I have a 2 stage 20 gallon one. Works good, but for air impacts it runs out of steam. Pretty much gets used for winterizing the sprinklers every fall now. Airing up tires I just go to the gas station, theirs are free and have the digital gauge on them, easier than dealing with the air hose. The...
Right, those runners go into the frame holes pretty much as far as they can go. And it's all tied together under the plate the winch mounts on (like even behind the licence plate part of the bumper). Could maybe start fabbing with some square hitch tubing?
Look at the difference between the older intermediate shaft (left) and the new one (right)...the part past the snap ring groove is longer and the end is more domed. The old one is more flat.
Does that clip look normal? It's just weird, I can get it in place and it looks normal, it feels like it seats in to the right spot, but then it just pulls out with the cv attached.
The new intermediate shaft doesn't want to lock into the diff, anyone had an issue with that? I didn't try tapping it in yet. Could the c clip be too open? Once the CV is attached, I can just pull the whole thing out of the diff.
I called another Napa up the river a bit and at first they said they only can get new ones, so I questioned them and then he said he found a remanned one he could order, picking it up Saturday.
Online it shows they can get them, but when they actually go to order it, it supercedes to the new part. Maybe my Napa is just dumb, they've been known for that. I don't know that another Napa would honor my warranty though. I can get rebuilt ones from O'Reilly's which i'm guessing is the same...
