    RRO UCAs vs JBA UCAs

If I was going to do it, I'd spend the extra $100 and go with the JBA. Been very impressed with the quality, price and fast shipping on the few things I've purchased from them so far. Not to mention the fact that most members here swear by them.

    RRO UCAs vs JBA UCAs

It's really all about the quality of the ball joint. 99.9+% of the time it's the actual ball joint that fails, whether integrated, pressed in or bolt on. Not many arms, even cheap aftermarket arms, break. If they did those companies would quickly be sued right out of business.

Need advice, which year and model Jeep liberty to purchase

Love my early 02. Very simple and basic. No TPS and no antilock brakes. Not that I'm apposed to antilock, just didn't come on my Liberty.

    Steel wheels or alloy?

    Amen to that!

    Steel wheels or alloy?

I prefer steel, but have had and like both. You're normally looking at around 5-10lb + or - when it comes to similar sized wheels of steel verses aluminum. When you add the weight of the tire into the equation, approximately 40lbs, I don't believe the 5-10lb is going to be a make or break...

Finding always on power wire under dash

If I remember correctly I believe I tapped into the power port or cig lighter. Same wire I used to power my XM Tuner. Had to removed one anyway when I installed the double DIN face plate. Also believe one had constant power and the other was Accessory position.

2004 Jeep Liberty ARB, Ironman, JBA arms, etc. North Jersey

I'm close enough to grab it, but the bumper/winch would be the only thing I'd be interest in so not worth it for me. If I ever change diff's or gears they will be brand new and nothing used. I'd never install used drivetrain parts unless I had no other choice(new no longer avail). Even then...

2004 Jeep Liberty ARB, Ironman, JBA arms, etc. North Jersey

If I was so inclined I'd show up with $2000 in cash in hand. The vehicle itself isn't worth much. The wheels(maybe, depending on condition), new tires, winch, front bumper and diff's are worth over $2,000 though.

2004 Jeep Liberty ARB, Ironman, JBA arms, etc. North Jersey

I'd be interested in the ARB Bumper if you part it out.

    profdlp's 2007 Liberty Project

Amazon Prime, Sears and Tirerack are my normal go to places for tires. Have to be careful with Sears though. They're prices can and often do change daily. No BS I've had the price change over $100 on 4 tires from one day to the next. Sometimes they even throw in $100 worth of points to be...

    profdlp's 2007 Liberty Project

Good idea. Think I'm going to do the same and order 1 wheel to test fit. Still not sure on the tire though. Really liked my Grabber AT2's and know I should probably stick with them but considering something a little more aggressive like the Cooper Discoverer STT PRO, Firestone Destination M/T...

    15" Steel Wrangler Rims?

Decided to go with 30x9.5R15 MT tires for my summer tires and trying to decide on the best 15" steel rims to go with. Has anyone run the older OEM 15" Wrangler rims? Really like to stick with a more stock look, but not sure if these will have enough back spacing. Guess my options are: 1)...

HOW TO: low profile cross bars

Pretty sure that's being caused by the air space between the 2 halves of your clamps. Try filling it with a little black RTV or wrap it up well with electrical tape to confirm that's the cause first. Doesn't take much of a air gap to create a whistle at driving speeds.

    Front end maintenance

I use RockAuto often and they've been very responsive and great to work with. One time they sent the wrong y-pipe and getting a return auth was easy and they even shipped the replacement before receiving the part back. As soon as they received shipping confirmation that I shipped the incorrect...
