5:45 this morning took the RR tire off, found the nail in it, pulled said nail, plugged tire, reinstalled and drove it to work. A truly great way to start the day.
Damn, I thought I did good at 1.94 a gallon.
Today was a new trans cooler and patch up the lines. I am really getting tired of looking up at my Jeep from underneath.
Its not the HOAT coolant. The coolant level hasnt changed either. It is pink. Really doesnt smell like trans fluid. I dont see any leaks from the PS cooler either.
I'm just trying to find out if its ok to drive tomorrow. 55 mile round trip to work and back.
I just went out & checked, the PS...
I have a 07 Liberty, 3.7v6/auto. I just put in a new radiator & water pump. When i got to the grocery store this AM Jeep was puking what looked like trans fluid. After taking most of the cooling system apart it looks like the leak is coming from the AC condenser. Is the fluid/oil in the AC unit...
New radiator, water pump, hoses, coolant. Pretty much everything. Waterpump bearing was making noise and had a crack in the radiator. Figured what the hell, do it all.

I am looking into replacing my lower ball joints on my 07 KJ. Couple questions for the KJ brain trust. . . . . .
I am planning buying a ball joint press from harbor freight. Does anybody know if the bushings/spacers included with the basic kit will be the correct size ?? Or will I need to...
I've been running this set of Bosch Icons for a year at least. They have chattered from day 1. Every wiper blade Ive ever put on has chattered, depending on conditions.
Checked the oil this morning and noticed the serpentine belt was frayed. That happened pretty quick. I was under the hood last weekend and everything looked good. Oh well.
Installed new tensioner and new belt now we're good to go. Took all of 10 minutes.
I used a piece of 2" square stock about a foot long drilled a 3/4" hole for the shackle and a 5/8" hole to attach it into the hitch. The 3/4" shackle has a 2" inside width and a 15400 pound load rating.
