What did you do to your jeep today?

Hardest part will be installing the pinions, you will do it all to the proper torque and it will be loose. I found that you need a big ratchet (breaker bar), a pinion holder and a lot of man strength to install them. You will then use a dial torque wrench and check the pre-load of the crush...

What did you do to your jeep today?

I'm looking into why I get an RPM flare on down shift when going up steep hills, only on initial down shift. Letting go of throttle briefly seems to allow pressure to build and issue to be gone. Unfortunately Chrysler is less than helpful on that one, which means I have to actually do some real...

When PCM see an open/high resistance circuit like that, they are programmed to run on a pre-mapped fail safe. It will use other data, such as the other upstream O2, MAP, MAF and TPS to determine how much fuel to allow. Down stream data more less normal if the CAT is warmed up and mostly...

Thats a very good pattern for something completely different. That is lucky. What we generally do is check the pattern before hand and set it back exactly the same, whether we agree with it or not. Assuming it wasn't noisy to begin with and the gears aren't worn. That's only if we are in there...

What did you do to your jeep today?

It is doable at home, its a matter of replacing shims, which is in my opinion a lot easier than the rear, assuming you have a bunch of shims on hand. You likely need to completely redo the backlash since the LSD will be different than the OEM, but it very doable...... you could also get lucky...

I fixed my RF speaker that was rattling in the door. Turns out a previous owner put in after market speakers in one very loose self tapping screw was left, and at some point only had 2 total holding it in. I riveted it in 2 spots and have decided I want nee speakers that fit better and have...

Oh I already know all that, I'm just being lazy and don't feel like bringing a tire in the shop to test fit it. Its no duratrac, so the tread isn't very thick or aggressive. I am the professional, or thats what they call some of my idiot coworkers hahaha

b2s1 (red) should have more reaction to it. It should look similar to the blue. It's also almost at 2.5v, based on the screen shot it shouldn't exceed 1v.

03 KJ Overheating after 30 minutes of driving. (Fixed)

It's a 2 fan system. 1 mechanical and 1 electric. For the back flushing, I change directions every 10 seconds, it works well, but a heater core is much smaller than a rad, so it's a lot easier to see progress. Radiators are cheap enough to just replace and call it a day.

I can get a set of 5 Yokohama G015 tires from work for cheap. Someone ordered them for something and they never sold. Given we aren't a tire shop, it's to my benefit. Anyway has anyone stuffed this size in a 2.5" lifted KJ?
