Passenger Side (right side) Axle doesn't seem to be in all the way

Isn't there a snap ring on the spline? Might not have seated

    wheel backspacing

Inset is easy to deal with, especially if your school has a lathe, a set of spacers will put them back in line. (Forgot to say, check stud length is still acceptable! Might need longer ones) The XJ should be ET25, if I remember you fitted non standard wheels to your KJ so you need to look up the...

2008 3.7L Questions Jeep Newbie Daughter's truck down.....!

You said it was running well up until the problem. Was it burning oil and breathing? Has it done many miles and got a regular service history? Remote diagnosis is always a nightmare, the compression readings are low but how good is the gauge that took them? I'd like to get the valve covers off...

    Wires/clutch issue (weird issue)

Repair and reroute the wires to avoid further damage. Cable ties are my favourite accessory! Have a good look around the clutch pedal and see if anything has broken, drop the plastic shield under the dash and check the clutch mounts for cracking/missing bolts. The problem may be at the other...

intermittent P0300 on my 2005 CRD

You could try poly tubing temporary plumbed in as fuel line, it's translucent so you can see bubbles, handy for locating leaks, you don't want to drop the fuel tank if you don't have to! Like your link says the common leak seems to be the fuel filter, I've got the earlier Racor on mine so a...

Air in the fuel system I'd guess.

    06 liberty won't start

You will have to check the key switch is sending 12v to the starter when you turn it.

New Jop, what should I do to it next?

Steering rack makes a knock too when it's bushes are shot.

    Charging issue

Hopefully that will sort it, the ECU is coded so a swap out isn't simple, often easier to get the original one repaired or cloned.

    06 liberty won't start

Might be a dying starter solenoid, time to get the multi meter out and see if the key is putting a supply to the solenoid.

2006 Liberty Sport 4x4 - Total Parking Brake Rebuild For $68

There were 2 different brake systems available for the rear of the KJ, one was a large drum brake like the earlier Jeep XJ, the other system is a disk brake with a small internal drum assembly inside the hub that purely serves as a hand brake.

Manual or auto? Manual has the clutch interlock switch that can fail.

Knocking Noise and Metal in Oil

If you do go down the route if scrapping it if you have space to keep the whole Jeep for a while, you are sitting on a parts goldmine. I have a second CRD I'm slowly stripping, it's saved me a fortune in bits, luckily it's the same colour so I'll have the best panels swapped around before it...

Knocking Noise and Metal in Oil

Knocked the rocker off and broke something in the head that dropped into the sump would be my guess. Pop the valve cover off and see what's in there. If you have one of the cheap USB cameras on a wire you could pull the plug out of 6 and have a look inside.

Knocking Noise and Metal in Oil

Probably a dropped valve seat, would explain the heavy breathing accompanying the misfire, the valve will be stuck open. A second hand head for that bank would be a good idea if you have to get bits in advance.

Knocking Noise and Metal in Oil

Sounds like a misfire, along with the tapping, noise is very top end so I wouldn't condem it just yet, definitely time to pull the heads though! I wouldn't drive it until this is sorted because it will wipe the oil pump out & them it is game over for the engine. If I was doing it I'd strip the...

    Charging issue

Yes, the alternator field is controlled by the ECU, you should only fit the correct alternator for the Jeep. If you have bought the correct one then try fitting it, it's unusual for the ECU to fail, normally the alternators or their clutch fail.

    Broken sway bar link bolt

How much have you lifted it?
  19. KJowner

    lifting back to stock height.

It would be much nicer to drive if you lifted it level instead of like a powerboat.

2004 Jeep Liberty Rear End Issue

Really strange, I think your right about setting up the camera to see what's happening, only other thing that comes to mind is faulty new bushes, But that's grasping at straws!
