    My brake issue came back, so I bought a nee caliper. It seems the real culprit is the parking brake lever on the passenger side. It rusted in the partially on setting. I’m soaking it in PB Blaster tonight, I’ll throw some heat at it tomorrow, if needed. Worse case scenario, I put it back...

    I was unable to get to my brake issue, but it seems to have resolved itself. It must’ve been cold related.

    I went for groceries today. When I got back, I got hit with the smell of burnt brakes. Rear left was hot. I’ll have to check it out further tomorrow. Maybe it’s a stuck pin.

    I drove to my continuing ed class yesterday, and it was bitter cold and windy. Maybe -25F before wind chill, in the morning. It warmed up to -2F. Many cars/trucks would not start after the 8 hour class, but mine fired right up!

    I haven’t even seen my jeep today. I have been getting a ride for work, lately.. It’s been that way since early December. I’ve filled up three times since December 1st, and the third was on Friday. It seems to be appreciating the break.

    Keep in mind that midwest prices are lower because mechanics have a knock down drag out fight with every fastener. They’re all rusted in place

    They’re also a lot cheaper than a whole driveshaft.

    My jeep’s had the week off. I’ve been catching a ride with a coworker in a company truck every day.

    Fluids are changed. The MTF was pretty shiny! It was probably liquid synchronizers. T-case fluid came out clean. The trans shifts a lot more smoothly, now.

    I picked up some fluids for the t r a n n y and the t-case. I’ll do those along with an oil change this afternoon.

    Nah, no skids, just put like six light bars and pods on it. You’ll be fine

    Teflon tape or pipe dope of some kind. I used Blue Monster for a heater core bypass, once.
