I just changed the oil. While doing so, I found I forgot to reconnect the MAF sensor last weekend. So, I’ve been driving it all week without that, but I didn’t notice anything off about it.- CherokeeLiberty

Yeah, it is. I won’t know if my issue is fixed until I have a day where I make a ton of stops, though. It’s never done it on a cold start, always hot.- CherokeeLiberty

I adjusted the gaps on the spark plugs to get me by until I order new ones. I also cleaned the throttle body.- CherokeeLiberty

Apparently the ‘07’s don’t have an IAC? I cleaned the TB, and it wasn’t terrible. The MAF is dirty, and I don’t have cleaner for it. Spark plugs were eaten up, a bit. The gaps were all between .044” and .054”. The parts store is closed today, so I closed the gaps to .040”.- CherokeeLiberty

Just over 203k miles. I’ve never done a compression test, and I have not cleaned the IAC. Spark plugs were replaced 30k miles ago.- CherokeeLiberty

This has been an ongoing issue, but I almost missed my dog’s vet appointment because of it, yesterday. Sometimes when I’ve been doing errands, I’ll hop in to head out, and the engine fires, stumbles, and dies. Sometimes, I can save it by mashing the gas pedal, sometimes not. I would recommend getting your AC system sniffed in case it’s leaking somewhere. It’d be a bad deal if the evaporator has a leak and you’re breathing it.- CherokeeLiberty

I finally returned the core caliper yesterday. I got to my next errand stop, and I was punched in the face by the smell of burning brakes… Again… The opposite rear caliper started sticking. I got it swapped the afternoon, and I’m gravity bleeding it right now.- CherokeeLiberty

I miss my old lifted XJ. I also never had to jack it up for basic maintenance. It was lofted 4” on 31’s. Dad’s was 6” on 33’s. That one was too much for easy work. I needed a stool for working under the hood comfortably. My XJ was perfect, though. My stock XJ wasn’t bad, either. It was better...- CherokeeLiberty
