What did you do to your jeep today?

I put a blower resistor in my 2006 from a 2004 Sebring, have all speeds back

    Quiet AT tires

Traction only helps with acceleration and steering, get on the brakes hard in slippery conditions and the best tires don't help a lot. I had Hankook Dynapro tires for a few years and I could go through 12 inches of snow but one day a dummy decided to switch into the lane I was in and slow down...

    antifreeze/coolant question

I think that is what I put in my 2006 after a changed the radiator a couple years ago. I didn't see any strange sludge when I changed the water pump a month or so ago. I figured I better change it before it goes bad and I am close to 200k miles

    Tail Light Issues

From what I can find, the drivers side park lamps use a pink wire with a white stripe. Is the socket burnt or partially melted?

EMERGENCY pls help 2004 Jeep Liberty limited 3.7L radiator cracked / major leak

Pick up 2 gallon of Zerex G05 non diluted at the store. I just drained my 2006 to replace water pump and didn't quite get 1 gallon of zerex and one gallon of water in. My radiator cracked on the drivers side a couple years ago. I have seen ones easier to replace

What did you do to your jeep today?

I installed a new water pump on the 06 Renegade. I haven't seen too many water pumps survive 180k miles so I figured on doing it before it fails. Took about an hour as the tensioner also had to be removed to remove a few bolts

2006 KJ - ABS, traction control and ESP/BAS Christmas tree, but no codes!

The nuts can get rusted from the inside and be oversized, a bunch on my KJ got that way, so I ordered a set on Amazon. My nephews 2015 Ford Focus was worse, so I replaced those too, don't remember what socket was needed as the 3/4" wouldn't fit, may have needed 19 or 20 mm

HOW TO: fix the KJ fuel burp plague!

And if the original problem of the part inside of the gas tank isn't removed, a problem filling at full pump volume might be an issue at some time in the future

What did you do to your jeep today?

I replaced the oversized fog lights on my 2006 Renegade Not street legal but they work well

What did you do to your jeep today?

On my Liberty, it looks like a 3 year old could change the water pump as it just has the electric fan. The thermostat is a project I don't like as it is connected to the lower hose

What did you do to your jeep today?

I got the volume working on my 06 radio thanks to https://wranglertjforum.com/threads/fixing-a-common-factory-radio-problem-bad-volume-control.67592/ Too bad the problem with the driver door speaker is caused by the magnet falling off

What did you do to your jeep today?

    New to Jeeps

You might like it until you have to replace upstream oxygen sensors My 06 Renegade is blue and likely to be missing drivers side fog light. Has 185k on it. The 2006 might frustrate a kid as it has advanced traction control so no burnouts but it is fairly safe cornering in snow

Wearing out rear pads over fronts.

My 2006 does this, if one rear wheel slips enough the brake engages. I have only had it happen in snow. If my back end slides sideways in snow it engages a front brake to stop the slide
