Cheap Fix for Transfer Case Cable Bushing/Clip

Wheel bearing dead
May be too late for this current issue, but I bought some of that AeroKroil spray penetrating oil. Tom Mudd recommended it often so gave it a try, and it's worked on everything I've tried it on so far. It's pricey but worth it to me since it works. Has been a lifesaver on all the rusted stuck...- ltd02

K&N Cold Air Intake
I've run an AEM brute force CAI (dry cone filter) for 15 years and over 120k in my 4.0L OHV ranger and never had an issue with my engine (187k now). I do run a hydrophobic prefilter and the kit does come with a box setup that draws air from around the headlight and grill, not just sucking hot...- ltd02

Trees are growing back! That tornado was a doozy. Changed the whole park. Coin op hot water is still there and the showers are open again after the COVID shutdown. We have a cabin nearby and I've been going to that park since 1966. I've seen it all.- ltd02

Nice! I'm originally a PA guy from the Scranton area. I've been to Ricketts several times over the years. The Milford PA Gifford estate (Grey Towers) is awesome! Those giant European Beech trees. Haven't been to the park near York. Heading to Promised Land tomorrow.- ltd02

PCV valve not all the way in, would this be okay? Code P507
Yeah, forgot the TPS and IAC are integral parts of the TB in the 07-12. You have to replace the whole TB. I don't think they are serviceable.- ltd02

Not very familiar with the 07 but did do an 07 PCV swap on my 02 years ago. The 02 has a breather in the 07 PCV spot that's threaded just the same though. Mine stuck out a bit too when tight so I don't think they go in very far. I had a very big deep socket to install mine but the adjustable...- ltd02

3.7 knock?
Did you ever cut open an oil filter and see if there is any bearing material in the folds? Look for bits in the drained oil too. Use a paint filter. I spun a #2 rod bearing around 175k in my 02. Knocked for quite a few months before it went.- ltd02

How to: Replace HVAC blend door actuator
Does the range work from full open to full closed or did you have to run a calibration? -

It's probably just a bit crusty there. The clamp has to be removed from the joint as it is still holding the pipes together even without the bolt. I just pried at it with a long screwdriver. Start at the opening and it should slide up or down. Even with the bolt out like your's there is a good...- ltd02
