    Simple is an understatement. Remove the bolts holding the diff cover, use a screwdriver/prybar to pop the cover off, let fluid drain, scrape old sealant off, put new RTV (i used red, can be had from wal-mart), bolt cover on, let rtv cure, pour in oil (+Friction modifier if you have a trac-loc)...

    So I don't get why everyone seems to have a problem with the rear end. It's like 8 bolts, and some RTV. Unless you didn't jack it up, that would make it more difficult, but other than that... I dunno, mine seemed easy, just time consuming wating for the rtv to cure properly.

    Big old self-adjusting clamp with rubber jaws usually works pretty well, just un-cap the brake fluid resevor first. Made it noticably easier when i did mine.

    Latest Gas Mileage report... almost 3K miles on my '05 now.

    I bumped my tire pressure up to 40 psi for a 1500 mile road trip, and averaged between 22 and 22.5 at 70 mph the whole way. Not great, but not bad either.

    Headlight question

    if your left headlight is still good, and your right is blown, swap the bulbs from side to side. if the problem stays with the bad bulb (ie. right goes to left, now left dosen't work) odds are it's the bulb. hope it helps -brian

    I'd start with a good round of brake cleaner, folowed by lubing the sliders/pistons just as you suggest. Also, check the rotors and pads for excessive or uneven wear. But on the other hand, since you still have warranty left, it may be better to take it to the stealership, explain the problem...

    Here's My take: It say's, "MIN COLD" So it's a set minimum. As long as it's not below that set minimum, it's still within the factory-set limits. Granted something to keep an eye on for further leakage, but it's a set minimum for a reason. we deal with this same shit at work all the time...
