First-time jeep/liberty owner
Height should be 19” from center of hub to underside of fender flare. Anything less and you need new springs and shocks.- klc

Really. I buy three lengths of bolt now, just in case. -

That sounds strange. I put an engine skid plate on mine and there’s no bolts near the control arms. The front bolts are inside the two round holes at the front of the plate. -

For shocks, either Old Man Emu or Bilstein. I don’t think you want to go much higher than two inches for the sake of the CV’s, no one is making four inch lift kits anymore. Search the forums for threads on lifts, a former moderator named Tom Mudd has discussed this geometry issue in detail...- klc

To the audiophiles
I think you can just pull the speakers and go. I replaced mine as soon as I bought the jeep because they were rotten, everything else is stock. The dash speakers are full range connected in parallel with the front door ones. -
