Unless there's a second solenoid pack I don't know about, the pack is pretty easy to get to. drop the pan, drop the filter, undo 4 (iirc?) bolts, and it drops out. unplug the connector obviously.
pretty much everything, as the jeep is complete, minus good cats and O2 sensors.
I've not thought about little bits like the window pieces you mentioned.
I was just going to get the cheapest one really, and fill the body mounts. What I wish is, someone made one with a greaseable ball joint. Now that I have a ryobi powered grease gun and one of those fancy quick nipple couplers, I have no excuses NOT to grease all the things. :D
I need to...
I saw the ironrock one and, I like it, but I don't like it THAT much :D
I'm going to order a new boomerang, and give it the filled urethane treatment so many other bushigs I've dealt with.
you know, I swear I did the boomerang, but I can't find it in my notes.
need to do more digging.
Well...
no order for one on Rock Auto.
Nothing on amazon.
And the ebay order was in 2024 and that went on the khaki jeep.
so I guess, I never did buy one?
so I still have a wandering problem, even after installing the rack bushings.
Only suspension bits that haven't been replaced are the rack itself and the rear lower arms.
Hoping to do the latter soon, but I want to urethane fill the bushings first.
Also has anyone ever tried to slot the body...
seriously...
Harbor Freight Badlands ZXR (if you're cheap) or Apex (if you want synthetic and wireless remote right out of the box) is a great bet.
I have one of their pre-Badlands series 12k winches (2011), and I've abused the hell out of it. Still going. Lots of people have beat them to hell...
mine has TPMS turned off.
accidentally turned it on one time and it got "locked" into the cluster too. that was a pain to fix, but I did it.
TPMS is one of those things that too much of a pain in the **** and wallet for me to deal with. I just check my tires regularly.
yep.
P245/75R16.
also "added" a spacer/ring to the rear. I quoted that as the OE ones were pretty damn flat. :D
added *just* the right amount of tilt needed to not make it feel like i'm ridin' a dirty carolina squat. :D
I think they fill the arches appropriately now. the 70s always felt just a...
I was more ******** about the fact there are 2 sizes listed on Rock Auto, and no indications there as to WHY.
2007 3.7L manual 4x4 and both rears. The front doesn't have u-joints; you should know that.
choices:
1) put a piece of tape over the light
2) pull the cluster, pull the bulb
3) rotate the tire and see if the warning follows the tire. then you'll know if it's an on-wheel or on-chassis problem.
3) get the PIN code for the vehicle, have someone with a good enough tool turn OFF the TPMS...
