What did you do to your jeep today?
got 2 liberty's now that sometimes on starting after sitting, it'll crank, fire, and die. sounds/feels like loss of fuel pressure. turn ignition off, back on, crank it and it starts right up after. do these things have a fuel pressure regulator issue at certain points?- sota

New guy looking at getting a Liberty
tires make all the difference on any vehicle. I've had FWD cars with "dedicated snows" (really, just heavily siped big tread block tires) that were unstoppable in anything. And I can't tell you the number of SUVs and AWD vehicles I see in the ditch, because poor tire choice and poor driving...- sota

We haven't started on the rent thing yet. BUT... he is investing about $300/month in a couple funds, which is helping set him up for retirement at a young age hopefully. So, I'l ok with the no-rent thing... for now. :D He's working 2 jobs, 1 of which is what he invests every month in full. Oh...- sota

she's quite a bit rough, having been a Queens ride for 7 years. however, it's a stick, the bones are good, and the interior will probably clean up pretty well, I can replace the carpet kit, and the exterior cosmetic issues are all bolt-on parts. the doors are clean, the underside is clean. it...- sota

BTW LDP was indeed my problem, replaced the gas cap too just because it's 20 years old, and when I unplugged the old one the LDP side ripped out and the terminals were all corroded. a little deoxit cleaner and some scrubbing with a brush and it was all good to go. didn't even have to jack the...- sota

Survey on AT tires being used
Vredestein Pinza AT. Do recommend. Lovely road manners, and even worked fine when I had to plow with them on. Haven't had monsoons so no rain report yet.- sota
