Yep, done all that.
refridgerant is 5x5.
air flow is massive, until the evap frosts over obviously.
if I keep the blower at 3 or 4 it'll usually NOT frost over.
my solution right now is I unplug the compressor clutch in the winter.
sucky part is, it'll frost over in 90deg weather!
it's pissed...
GPS is your friend here.
Also that equation depends on the year.
some do speed off a sensor at the transmission (or is it diff?)
others that have 4 channel ABS do it from the ABS sensors.
and some us are screwed and can't adjust it at all, because 07's won't let you.
I'm with diesel on this one. replace the bad section with some high pressure hose and some good clamps. Alternatively, source the ends with barbs to do it "properly." They are available.
last time I looked, warranty was void if engine not installed by a "professional" mechanic.
Personally I'd be hunting for a running parts jeep to yank an engine out of. Hell if the OP wasn't on the opposite side of the country, I'd make him that offer from the parts jeep I have here.

Well, I got the Creative Steel rack bushings installed.
Only thing nearby I needed to unbolt was the front mount for the front diff; 3 bolts and pried it out of the way. also removed the trip pan for the oil filter for clearance.
was able to press out the old passenger bushing relatively...
