Rear turn signal is burnt out so I’m wanting to change just the rear bulbs to LEDs but can’t figure out where to put my resistors.
The Challenger has individual wires going to each socket which made it easy but this is all one big plug.
Any ideas?

I kept my blinkers incandescent and just went LED for brakes/running/reverse. Figured it was easier than trying to rewire everything.

Some cars you can just replace the flasher relay, not sure on yours. Worth a look.

Our relay is built into the hazard switch so you can't just replace it...I think i have an extra modified hazard witch lying around from when I replaced all my lights with LEDs. If you're interested I'll look around for it.

It’s all good to go guys! I figure it out.. just had a brain fart I guess
I got my resistors wired and it’s all done! Brake lights, reverse lights, and turn signals are all LED now and work great but now I need to do the front

Can you do a write up on this? I am sure many would like to know "how to" Rear LED's...
Are they brighter now?

Yes I’ll try to get one up Tues sometime

Also, yes, the brake lights are significantly brighter and much more responsive compared to the incandescent ones.. applying the brake makes the brake lights come on about 1-2 sec before the third light (will be changing that one eventually too)

The turn signal bulbs look about the same in brightness, maybe a little brighter but I didn’t do a side-by-side comparison so I don’t know 100%
I used the Sylvania Amber and Red bulbs and the Sylvania resistor kit from Advanced because I don’t like risking getting junk from online when it comes to these bulbs

Would’ve taken about 15 mins start to finish if I would’ve known which wires I needed from the start
They look much better!

Yes, a how to would be great and thanks in advance. I didn't know about the flasher in our Jeeps, but I was just helping my file with his 81 Corvette on Friday and he's got led lights and it was just a matter of switching a relay for him. Sorry for the point less suggestion

Would you mind posting the Sylvania part numbers?

Reason I ask is I tried it a few years ago and the bulbs did nothing but blow fuses.

Thanks

( I still have the resistor in place)

Can’t seem to find the Part #s but they are just Sylvania 3157A and 3157R (A/R stands for amber/red) LED bulbs
You can get them at Walmart also a little cheaper:
