Hello lads!
After a long story and a few months I finally collected a new to me 2004 KJ renegade.

Had a few things done to it, white turn signals and rear lights on delivery.
Had the interior reupholstered to a nice saddle leather color, as the plastic bits are beige not grey... Was thinking that maybe I would do same leather bits on the doors and the dash...

Front disks were warped, so those got changed to slotted drilled ones - they resist warping apparently.

And something of trend in crisis driven Greece... LPG conversion

Same consumption but 50% down on price per liter. Gasoline currently at Eur1.90 per liter, or Eur 9.5 per gallon, or $12.30 per gallon (versus gas for LPG of $6.15)! Now tell me, how much does your consumption figure matter now versus mine??????????????

Next project will be stereo I think... getting a bit old - speakers seem shot.

Welcome.

Nice jeep. First one I have seen with an lpg conversion. Does it run the same as a gasoline powered one?

Welcome to the forum !

How many liters is your LPG tank? How much did the conversion cost?

If you are in Greece and new to Jeeps, try JEEP ANTALAKTIKA | ÁÍÔÁËËÁÊÔÉÊÁ JEEP | ÓÅÑÂÉÓ | SERVICE JEEP | ÓÕÍÅÑÃÅÉÏ ÁÕÔÏÊÉÍÇÔÙÍ | JEEP 4x4 | CHRYSLER | DODGE | JEEP | ÇÑÁÊËÅÉÏ | ÊÑÇÔÇ for low priced OEM parts!

My LPG tank is small, I think its 70 ltrs gross, 56 net. I opted for a small tank so as to have plenty of space around it, and save whatever I can from my tank... Have 3 kids after all, and luggage space WILL be an issue! Oh well. Thanks for the site, I did come across it in the Greek forums will certainly keep in mind...

Welcome.

yes exactly the same, smooth transition, you can barely tell. Same power output same everything... Switch between the two not even a hickup. LPG has less lubrication that gasoline apparently so will be using gasoline once a week or so...

Thanks for the welcome.

I have seen some with 2 and some with 4 overhead lights... dont know why...
For now they dont seem to be working, its either the bulbs or the switch, will investigate next week...

Here is a bit more background history from my jeeps. I like a custom job as you can tell...
Rokee was built in 2007 and totaled in 2008 as some kid hit my wife and she flipped it... thank God these things are like tanks the roof only gave maybe a few inches. And it was a nose flip not a side flip!

Sheriff was built in 2005 and sold in 2007...

Looks nice! I like the name Rokee. If I ever get another Liberty maybe I'll name him Bert? lol
Initially I was going to replace the "Che" with a little head of Che Guevara and leave the Rokee to follow Che+Rokee! But well not many people would catch that and I would look more rebellious than I really am!
But Balboa was certainly not my inspiration! More like the rocks that I was going to climb with that thing...!!:whip:

Those seats in your KJ are absolutely gorgeous.
I love the colour of the leather.
Thank you. Was inspired by the interior color of the Tuareg. I am thinking of adding accents now inside the car, like do bits on the door handle, and was even thinking to do the stripe that runs on the dash under the passenger airbag and at the sides of the steering wheel...

The seats are the nicest ive seen in a liberty! adding some bits to the door panels and dash are a great idea to tie it all in and look more like it came from the factory like that. Are the rotors Powerslot?

Well I was advised against doing dash... That pattern with the little dots is very difficult to work with, and chances are that the leather wont stick and will sag with time/sun.

I want to do the doors, I think the seats must somehow tie in with the rest of the car.
Will be posting more pics of the interior once I have the car back.

Not sure what the rotors are, they were changed from the guy who sold me the car, as I complained that the original ones were warped.

Thank you everyone for the welcome and the compliments - biased? No such thing!
