Yes it works fine. I mounted the 'black box' up under the driver's side fender .. basically behind the tail lamp assembly. I paid a bit under 30$ ... the ~59$ savings (assuming you don't also need the aux Mopar wiring harness @ ~30$) isn't all that shabby either.
Since no one else seems to say it succintly ..
No, if you remove your plastic fender flares there is no flare underneath it ... plastic or otherwise. They are not covers.
The Mopar unit looks to require running a line to the B+ terminal on the battery. Unless the Mopar unit isn't weatherproof or there is some other over-riding concern, I'd look at mounting it like the after-market solutions do; with 3M dbl-sided adhesive up in the opening in the fender just below...
If this is so, I think I might be asking Chrysler where they'd like me to drop off the Jeep they were buying back. That they are 'aware of the problem but have no fix' is rediculous.
It strikes me that backing up a hill is part of the implied merchanability of ANY vehicle. Every car I've owned...
IMO the Ltd with their painted fenders, look better with the body colored grill and the Sport with it's unpainted polymer fenders, looks better with the chrome grill.
my .015$

Nope . .the one to you also sits in my Outbox . .nothing in the Sentbox ...
I'm a Mod on a board that uses the same software. It doesn't have any issues with PMs ..
I was able to PM roadrunner and he kindly replied. However, my reply to him and/or any new PMs just sit in my Outbox .. they don't deliver. Is there something wrong with the system, my account or am I doing something improper?
TIA
