You may want to check the current of the fan motor. Not sure what it is but if fan is bad or binding it will pull too much current and heat up the resistors. Just a thought.

I need to do some rust repair on my rear door of my 07 Liberty. Anyone know how to remove the plastic trim without breaking them. I don't see how to remove the fasteners. Thanks! Mike

Sorry my typo they did say 5083138AA but when you check fitment on the web sites it comes up does not match. Checked another dealer and they gave me same number. NO one offers another number so I am guessing it is correct.

My dealer said the part # 5083128aa for the transfer switch however getting a lot of no match on the web. My xfer case is NV231 part time 4wd my vin# is 1J4GL48K77W522628 can anyone confirm ? THANKS!! Mike 07 Jeep Liberty

This is a 83 pin connector off a main harness. I called the dealer first he said it is not serviceable then he said they can change the pins. Mean time it is back together and working and I put some plastic around it in hope to keep it dry. No sign of water other than the corrosion on the inside...

Have an 07 Jeep liberty 4WD 87,000 miles w /3.7 V6. Got a pinion seal leak and my mechanic has replaced the seal three times. These guy's are usually pretty good. Had them check the vent and pinion yoke and looseness in the pinion and drive shaft and all is well. Does not leak standing still...
