    04 Tail Light Lenses Melted

Lenses I've heard of it happening a few times, happened to me once. I just a soldering iron to melt the inner lenses into smaller pieces and pulled them out through the bulb socket.

    Battery terminal is toasted

Battery That's exactly what I put on my battery when I got a new one from Autozone a few months ago. Those little felt pad and some type of goo they gave me. Not a trace of corrosion.

    Why I hate deer

Deer I think you, and your Jeep came out pretty lucky. It looks like the only damage is to your plastic bumper cover. I imagine your insurance would pay $400 for a replacement part and labor to install it, might as well put it towards a steel ARB.

***Pictures*** My sunroof is leaking. Please help!

Stained glass Glass is in fact a super cooled liquid, and does flow over long periods of time. But I fail to see how this would apply to stained glass. Stained glass is made up of many smaller pieces of glass, pieced together in a lead frame. There would be some flow in the individual...

    Brake Rotors Done at 16K?

Brakes I really think this is a warranty item...or should be. Brakes are a wear item, but there is no way that brakes should should this kind of damage, with the amount of miles that you have, without some type of factory defect. They're not worn, they're physically damaged, and they're not...

    Brake Rotors Done at 16K?

Warranty A 2006 with only 16k? That has to be a warranty fix. This problem wouldn't be included in the normal 'wear and tear' category. Your mechanic should have known that.

    Friends 05 Liberty dead.

Liberty I thought that the 2.4L gas was only available in 2002? I'm just about positive that it was, can someone confirm this? Are you sure it's not the 2.8L diesel in the CRD? Are you sure it's a 2005 model, that seems like an awful lot of miles. I know Durangotang (over on the L.O.S.T...

    Gas warning light?

Light Here's the quote from the 2004 service manual: "Each time the cluster receives messages from the PCM indicating the percent tank full is less than 15, the gauge needle is moved to below the one-eighth position on the gauge scale and the low fuel indicator is illuminated. The low fuel...

    bought a JET chip.

Chips Did you get the Stage I or the Stage II? From what I've read, they do work at first, until your computer starts to compensate for the adjustments the chip makes. Once this happens, you're back to stock operation.

    Gas warning light?

What kind of mileage did you say you got? Wasn't it like 8 mpg? I wouldn't let it get below 1/2 a tank either. Good to know about the fuel pumps, never heard that before. The filters can clog up the lower you run your tank because you'll be sucking all the junk off the bottom of your tank...

Where do you wheel your Libby?

Skids If there are a lot of rock, or roots, or stumps, you'll definately need the skids. If you're just playing in the mud, probably not.

    Cracked 22mpg combined

Psi I keep mine at 34 PSI. It's the only PSI I can run where I don't get a low pressure alarm in the morning, and a high pressure alarm in the afternoon.

    Cracked 22mpg combined

Psi PSI seems high, does it exceed the maximum recommended PSI for your tires? If so, you might get unusual wear patterns that will decrease the life of your tires. It would also reduce traction, which could be dangerous.

    Fuel filter change

Fuel filter All the fuel filters are built into the tanks (not sure about the CRD's). He's either added a second inline filter, or he's talking about his air filter.
