I notice every once in a while , when i start my 2012 Liberty the change oil light comes on flickers , until i hit the cancel button. I just had my oil changed 800 miles ago, I still have 2200 miles to go. Should i just reset it , or is something else wrong. Jeep runs great.:shrug:

Thank's all. I'm getting a tow hitch on the rear first soon. Then I'll go with the factory hooks. I only need one for the front.

Hi, all. I have a 2012 jeep liberty Latitude. Are there tow hooks on this model. I plan on using here sometimes on the beach for surf fishing. Do i have to add them. I never had a jeep were the tow hooks were not standard.:shrug:

I have a 2012 Liberty, In the morning when i first take off , I hear a sound like a pump coming on. I have no steering problems, and Liberty normally runs quite. I have no leaks at the P/S pump. Is this normal . Sound dosn,t last long.

Great post, I'm learning a lot. What causes the engine to sludge up. I just bought a 2012 Liberty with 38 k on her. Dealer changed oil at 37,900 , I,m going to change it at 40k and use syntech oil and a good filter. I'm sure dealer used regular oil.

Either way, little bit of steam vapor is probably caused by moisture. Like i said ,i don't see it on dry days. thanks all.
