Yea they are two different sizes. At least for mine. 3.6L 6 speed. Was a smaller joint at the back and a larger at the front of the shaft. I will get the part numbers off my receipt then.
Honestly, taking them off your jeep and bringing them to the store is best. Careful with the needle...

Yea, from reading about what others have posted, sounds like they cause a vibration similar to mine when they go.
I crawled under the jeep last night and took a look at it. I can shake the driveshaft a little bit. There is a little play in it. That ok? I will try and get a pic of it today...
It isn't worse in 4wd. I replaced the whole front driveshaft because the plastic boot cover was ripped and I had gotten dirt/water up in it. To be honest, when I got that replaced the vibrations went away for a few days.

Yea. Alignment too. Got all of that w the new tires. Honestly the vibration is only there when I step on the gas. 85% of the vibration goes away when I take my foot off the gas. When I put it in neutral (I have a six speed) it almost entirely goes away.
If it was the tires or wheel bearings it...
