Thanks for the replies. Never had a problem getting a shop to install my parts....they won’t warranty the job though.

What is a reasonable estimate for the shop time to install an OME lift from DPG. Jeep is clean, very little rust.

The demand for manpower, for the next few years, is staggering. Looks to me like Puerto Rico has the most critical need right now....like power !

Looks like the A/C compressor. The clutch is getting power, but isn't locking in. Turning by hand the bearings are kinda ruff. Must be carrying the sound down thru the engine? Any way to bypass it with a different belt ?

Ya, it sounds to me kinda like something rubbing on the fly wheel, or when you spin a dry worn out bearing. I can't say whether it changes when on the road, but at rest it doesn't change with RPM, shift lever position, or transfer case position. It seems constant.

I have an 06, 4wd. Recently it has started making a bad bearing, grinding sound...coming from the console area. Got under it today to listen, sounds like the bell housing area. Does not seem to change with change of rpm, gear (auto) position, transfer case position. Sounds like a bad bearing...

Is there a good place to get some work done on the Lib in Houston area....prefer N-NE. Like skid plates, and lift.

Experienced this a couple of weeks ago, 1.5 gallons of water in pass side! Did the repair, my gasket did not appear to be leaking, have yet to test it. When I removed the plastic vowel cover 2 of the clips to the windshield were broken, I broke 2 more....how much good is the only remaining one...
