New Plugs/Coils now strange idle
Yes that would be another possibility and I did use the Autozone coils. However since charging my battery and doing the computer purge the Jeep is running fantastic. In fact I drove 140 highway miles and discovered Im now getting 21 mpg up from about 18- StrayKatJJL

New Plugs/Coils now strange idle
I think i drained the battery while doing the compression test, although it started fine, I proceeded to do a full charge last night and did touch the pos - neg terminal for 5 min to clear the computer. Hi - I own a 2006 I just serviced a bunch of things on. I also had a brake hose fail - and then that hose failed 6 months later. I was able to tell because - smell and the wheel was HOT. I would change PVC valve which can cause an odor if not working and also consider replacing the tran filter...- StrayKatJJL

OMG thats good news!! Since I replaced the pan I didn't really look to close at the old one. I used a LUBE LOCKER LLT-A042 when assembled it I read it was the better option then RTF for this application. It kind of makes sense since there is form of sorts to it and the softness of it .... yea...- StrayKatJJL

Yes - I used 5 Liter Jug of Mopar ATF + 4 - it was almost exact in what I drained out but my front was on ramps.- StrayKatJJL

2006 Liberty 4X4 42RLE I just changed my filter for the first time since owning the jeep 10 years now - bought it used.
