Like the bumper sticker says... "SHITLBUFOUT" Actually it's not that bad. I scored a low mileage replacment on ebay for $125 + $75 shipping. It took me 3 hours in my shop to tear down the whole IFS front end to get the axle out. I expect it will take twice that long to put it all...- slipinkramer

Believe me when I tell you that there are a few boulders on that trail :) I slipped off one of them a little too fast and the pumpkin hit a rock and stopped cold while the passenger side un-sprung running gear kept going. radiator fan help
What Liberty do you have? KJ or KK, gas or diesel, 4 cylinder or V6? It sounds like its running way too hot! Just under the half way mark on the temperature gauge corresponds to the thermostat opening point which (I think) is 195 degrees. The cooling system is designed to stay in that...- slipinkramer

Need help with Winch
It sounds to me like perhaps the woodruff key is sheared off or has come out of it's slot in the motor shaft. Anyway, the winch is new so no point in trying to fix it. I don't know about Smittybuilt, but Warn is certainly not the only good quality winch out there. Ramsey and Superwinch come...- slipinkramer

Holy Ouch! Can you park it in the hot sun, with all windows and sunroof open and a fan or 2 blowing around full blast on, under and around the dash and seats? to air dry... I think you will be alright if you can get it to air dry...- slipinkramer

Catalytic Converter Help
Beg, borrow or steal an OBDII scan tool. Plug it in under the dash, warm up the engine and look at the O2 sensor wave forms and the short term and long term fuel trims. This may very well show you what's going on. Please don't destroy your catalytic converters...- slipinkramer

'05 Liberty "Check Engine" light on...Help please!
1) Did they analyze an oil sample to check for fuel or coolant in the oil? Try a large, well respected independent auto mechanic shop in your area (sometimes the dealers can suck). Oil contaminants are the tell tale signs of a head gasket leak. Such a test should cost about $50. I didn't...- slipinkramer
